I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with this gym has been frustrating enough that others should be aware before signing up. Do not sign up here, better gyms out there!!!!!! I initially reached out for simple account information, and it took several days just to get a response from the manager Wilkin Lara. Once I finally did, I was given inconsistent and escalating fees--first I was told it would cost $150 to downgrade my membership, then $300 to cancel, despite having been a member for over a year. The pricing explanations felt unclear and changed depending on what I asked, which made the process extremely confusing and frustrating. When I asked for the contact information for upper management to better understand the policies, I was told that information could not be provided. That lack of transparency was disappointing and made it difficult to resolve anything directly. Communication overall felt disorganized and unhelpful, and instead of working toward a reasonable resolution, the situation escalated to the point where I was told my account would be sent to collections very quickly, even though the billing situation was still being discussed. My bill was due the 13th and Wilkin said he sent my bill to collections on the 15 of April. Is this really how this gym does business? Unfortunately, I expected more professionalism and clearer communication from a fitness center, especially when it comes to account changes and cancellations. Instead, it felt unnecessarily difficult to get straightforward answers. At this point, I've chosen to move on and will be finding a different gym that offers clearer policies and better customer service. I would strongly encourage others to carefully review the membership terms before signing up here, especially regarding cancellation policies and fees. I suggest getting new management who can communicate with members.

BAD VIBE WITH CRAMPED QUARTERS…read more Just went into the Georgetown location for my initial consulation and was sent home by a rude male trainer (Billy) because I did not have workout gear. (I wasn't told to bring any.) I was asked to reschedule for 1.5 hours next week (45 min workout followed by 45 talk) at the same time of day (no flexibility) which required that I leave work early again. (I was not told to set aside that amount of time for this initial consultation.) When I asked if we could talk now even briefly (since I got out of work early and was here already) I was told no in a rather dismissive manner stating that I HAD TO first complete a 45 min training before any discussion or Q&A. On my way out I had to step over a woman who was doing floor exercises. I have no intention of rescheduling.

The gym itself is very well run, and you notice it right away. It's clean, organized, and has a great overall atmosphere. The staff has also been consistently friendly and professional, which makes a big difference when you're there regularly. What really made the biggest impact for me, though, has been working with Turner as a personal trainer. He's excellent. He took the time to understand my background, including past injuries, and built workouts that are tailored specifically to me. After all these years of working out, I was surprised by how much I still had to learn. Turner helped me realize that some of the strains and injuries I'd dealt with in the past were likely due to my technique. Since working with him, I've improved not just in strength, but in how I approach each exercise. His knowledge and attention to detail have made a real difference. Overall, I'd highly recommend Crunch Fitness in Haverhill--great facility, great staff, and if you have the chance to work with Turner, you'll definitely get a lot out of it.

From the start, Kylie and the Atlantic K9 team were amazing--professional, knowledgeable, and so caring. Brinley attended their two-week bootcamp, and I'll admit, it was hard sending her away for that long with no visits. I was worried she might feel abandoned, but Atlantic K9 made the experience so much easier. They uploaded pictures every day of her playing with other dogs, looking happy and confident, with a smile bigger than I've ever seen on her. We reached out the Atlantic at a complete loss of how to help our sweet Ollie boy succeed. They were nothing but kind, communicative and supportive during our initial conversations, and put us completely at ease about sending our boy to the two-week bootcamp, a choice that was incredibly hard for us! Ollie is a five year old Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix who went to training pre-pandemic and has always been incredibly shy with strangers. Before 2020, this manifested as leash reactivity and we were working hard at it when social distancing went into place. Post-pandemic, we tried every method we could find to try and help him with this, but despite all efforts, his reactivity increased tenfold to include dogs and small children. Sometimes he would he completely fine, and other times, he would aggressively bark and lunge at dogs and kids. It was so stressful that we started keeping him away from other dogs, and our small nieces and nephews to be safe. Ollie's alert barking additionally reached an all time high in the summer of 2023, and his counter-surfing was out of control. We decided it was officially time to get professional help. My husband and I want to start a family soon, and were terrified to think that Ollie's unpredictability could jeopardize his relationship with our future kids. His alert barking was creating a near-constant level of stress in our home, and we couldn't imagine how Ollie would be able to function happily or be involved as our family continues to grow. Throughout the two weeks of bootcamp, we got daily communication about Ollie's progress from the team and pictures of him playing happily during break times. Most importantly, however, K-9 Atlantic has completely transformed our boy, and given us the utmost confidence that Ollie will be the BEST big brother someday. He is literally like a different dog in all of the best ways. He's still our sweet, snuggly, silly boy, but without all of the incessant barking and sneakiness! His reactivity is now basically nonexistent, and he happily plays with our little nieces and nephews when they come over! He is a rockstar on and off-leash. We've even slowly integrated meeting new dogs in controlled settings, and he has been so very successful. He hasn't even counter surfed (despite us purposely leaving chicken on the counter in his reach in order to practice!!!!). Ollie's newfound confidence shines in his ability to meet new people and have experiences without all of the anxiety that he displayed prior to his time at K-9 Atlantic. I ask for a contract I asked about refunds all being assured I'd be reimbursed this deposit if I did notify soon enough. Now I'm being told o am only going to receive half of the deposit refunded and the other placed for services. I do not require service not will I. So please me very cautious when giving out deposits to this kennel. They do not follow what they tell you. And I was not warn of the non refundable deposit. Get it in writing. They have tendency to leave the truth behind and not be honest on this platform where I am full disclosure warning who does a non refundable deposit 14 weeks out on a government hearing. Only a desperate business, even cruises and restaurants allow a reasonable cancellation. But in desperate times people and business will do desperate things No one.
