Zine's crew first replaced the stucco on my house back in the Spring. It developed cracks and peeling from the foundation. They came back a second time to redo their work. The same thing happened. Zine decided to return the third time and replace the problematic sections that were separating from the foundation. It is now the middle of October and I continue to have the same issue. He said he'll return and has not yet. He has suggested that I need to paint | seal the stucco. I want to do that but first need to know that it does not separate from the foundation so I don't waste my effort. Update on Oct 24. Zine came out to meet with me today. I now understand we had a miscommunication. He said he is a man of his word and I believe him. I will post photos of the new work and results. It might be in the Spring since the weather is getting too cold for stucco work. read more

Quoting and Scheduling: Absolutely wonderful experience in getting a quote and scheduling time to walk through the project. Renée and Zine were wonderful and patient in answering all our questions to get this project started. Renée was very communicative, followed up with us to keep things moving smoothly, and sent us plenty of information that helped us make decisions on the project. They weren't the cheapest quote, but were reasonable and we decided their professionalism, excellent communication, and technical skill made the price well worth it. Those feelings turned out to be correct! Work Completion: Guillermo and the crew were amazing. They worked efficiently, checked in with us where needed, and kept the site tidy. The guys were very friendly and we're very impressed with their work. Zine was incredibly knowledgable as our project touched most of our yard including: a complete overhaul of our front yard, replacement of a collapsing retaining wall in the back yard, finishing off a patio in the back. (Not pictured: Adding a couple of steps in our backyard, clearing overgrowth along the side of our house and laying down stone, and installing dry wells at each corner of the house to reroute gutter rainfall.) Atlantic Masonry & Tile keeps their perfect score streak going! Zine and crew recently finished a driveway & wall rehab project for us and the results are amazing. Of the several contractors we had come and give us estimates/proposals, Zine was the only one who offered some creative ideas and solutions to our unique space. After our initial meeting, we had a few other ideas we wanted to get quotes on and communication with Renée to establish the quotes, sign the contract, and set up the schedule was quick, professional, and friendly. We had to have a tree stump in the work area removed by a stump grinding company and the AM&T team was accommodating and adjusted their schedule to help us demo out the space around the tree stump ahead of the full driveway demo job. As others have mentioned, the communication with Zine and Renée was so easy and professional that we had no concerns about this added layer of complexity since we knew they wouldn't leave us hanging. AM&T excavated the retaining wall and area where our stump used to be, built a new retaining wall to blend in with our existing one, added two sets of granite steps as well as a couple long granite steps leading to our backyard, and put a granite cap on the new wall and the old wall. There was a short, ugly concrete wall that we weren't sure what to do with (in the photos, it's the one under the white fence), but AM&T generously added a stone facade. Now this wall adds beauty not just to our backyard and patio but also to our compost/shed area, which used to feel really junky but that we now jokingly refer to as the "sexy compost" area. AM&T also demo'ed our existing concrete driveway and installed a new driveway of beautiful pavers in a lovely pattern (which they helped us select). The new driveway is re-graded so that rainwater runs to the street, and they added a dry well underneath some of the pavers at the end of the driveway to help with drainage. The team that did the job was professional and efficient. Since we were working from home, we got to watch the daily progress and were impressed with their speed and skill. Several of our neighbors complimented their work as the job was in progress and have come back to comment to us about how beautiful the new space looks. Our previous driveway was an eyesore and wasted space but is now an extension of our backyard patio and highlights the landscape garden that we love. We recently had our fieldstone retaining wall repointed, as well as having a new driveway done and a couple of smaller fieldstone walls built. Excellent work! We need to replace our old and aging front brick steps and porch. Zine came by and showed us some wonderful granite opotions. We also had a wrough iron raling that was rusty, but which we wanted to fix up and save. He told us how we could easily fix it up ourselves, which we did, and it come our fabulous for only the cost of some spray paint and sandpaper! He ordered the granite and came by to start the job at the agreed upon date. He and his team dismantled the old porch very quickly and the new porch was installed by the end of the day. It had to settle and allow the mortor to dry for a couple of days before it could be walked on. The porch looks stunning and is a vast improvement over our old one. He returned about a week later (the mortar had to dry and settle completely before drilling to make the holes) and reinstalled the iron railing, which is now solidly in place! I couldn't be happier. He and his office staff kept in touch with us during the process of getting is estimate, choosing the granite we wanted, and scheduling the job, and coming back to reinstall the railing. It's been over three years since he completed the job and it still looks like he just finished it! read more

Zine and crew did an excellent job on our brick walkway today: 1. The team did quality, exacting work. The brick walkway curved around, and the crew cut curves into brick and granite pavers with the concrete saw. Good craftsmanship and attention to detail. 2. Fast: all done in one day, and on the day that they scheduled weeks ago. 3. Courteous and helpful: I asked them to take a look at our slab granite steps which had started to slope. Zine and crew spent an extra hour and repositioned two steps for us, and didn't charge us. They cleaned up immaculately. One of the crew noticed that our kids got a rocket stuck in a tree while playing outside- he got on the truck, shook the tree, and got the rocket down. 4. Reasonably priced. I interviewed a number of contractors for my retaining wall project and received so much contradictory and questionable info I was in despair-- until Zine arrived. He listens and communicates so well, made excellent suggestions that enhanced the project, and quoted a great price for a very aesthetically appealing option.
