But this review isn't about the people. It's about the company itself. A few months ago, I hired Groundworks for foundation repair. The total cost? $20,000. A serious investment, but one I believed was necessary. Before the work began, I had Air & Drain Works perform a hydrostatic test to check for plumbing leaks. The results came back clean -- no issues. After Groundworks completed the foundation lift, Air & Drain Works returned for a post-test. That's when the trouble started. The lifting process had caused a leak. A costly one. The repair estimate? Over $10,000. I reached out to Groundworks multiple times, hoping for some accountability or at least a conversation. Nothing. No returned calls. No follow-up. It's amazing how responsive they are when they're trying to win your business -- and how silent they become when you need help after the fact. So here's my advice: if you're considering foundation work, look elsewhere. Find a company that stands by their work after the job is done -- especially when their actions lead to expensive consequences. If this review makes even one person reconsider, then maybe Groundworks will realize that ignoring customers after the check clears isn't a sustainable business model.

We had a stamped concrete walkway and patio areas as well as a driveway extension. Sal communicated well with us the whole time on subtle changes and how to best match the texture of the driveway. Sal was involved in the whole process including ding much of the work himself and making sure attention to detail was a priority. Sal's proposal was very competitive and worth every penny in the end! It was a pretty big project when you see the finished product, it's amazing! Sal's crew were super professional and worked hard to get everything ready for the actual concrete work and they completed the pouring and finishing of the project within a day. Sal and Carlos even came out the next day (Saturday) to clean up and seal the stamped concrete. They even power washed my whole driveway to show off the driveway extension work matching best! They also added a root barrier to keep our trees from undoing what works they had done. For the most part, it's hard to see even where they did their work. Cleanup was 100%. They took excellent care of us. You never want to use them, but if you have foundation issues, they are the ones you want to call. Trel Lloyd was our rep and he treated us like family. I don't have before and after pictures ready to post, but, in our case, you could easily see the improvements in sheet rock and tile cracks. A-freaking-mazing.
