Avoid this company IF timeliness, professionalism, thoroughness, and your personal belongings matter to you. This company moved my HHG in late July, 2022. Our home was over 3800 sq ft, and Alpha predicted only 4 days to pack/move (Tues-Fri). I was highly skeptical it would only take 4 days but I'm not a mover, what do I know? That Tuesday Alpha showed up with only 2 guys, by the time they left around 4pm it had looked they barely scratched the surface. And when they left, they never informed me, which meant my garage doors were both open stuff strewn about, hopefully nothing was stolen. I had contacted Alpha's main office and spoke to a supervisor asking that the movers inform me before they leave at the end of the day, that way I can lock and shut everything up. He insisted he would pass the message along, unfortunately this would be a trend and Alpha would repeated leave without informing me. Alpha didn't show Wednesday until after 1pm, and it was obvious to my wife and I that Alpha would NOT finish by Friday afternoon. So beginning Wednesday my wife and I were packing, moving boxes, and loading while Alpha was in our home, and after hours once Alpha left. There was a silver lining to this because we were able to pack/load opened food pantry items, other liquids, and aerosols that otherwise might not have been sent. Thursday came and Alpha brought in an extra team so for most of the day we had 5-6 movers. And again, Alpha leaving at the end of the day and not informing me. Friday came and Alpha brought only 3 people, and by the end of the day--as expected--Alpha was not close to being done. So once again my wife and I packed into the night, and the next day, Saturday, Alpha arrived and finally around 4 or 5pm Alpha was finally complete. Then Alpha left without doing a walkthrough which by now I expected given Alpha's lackluster performance at that point. So on my walkthrough I found moving debris which Alpha left and one of my shelves that Alpha left behind, had a walkthrough been accomplished the shelf would've been identified. Had my wife and I not assisted Alpha, then the move would have inevitably bled into the following week which was when our family departed to my next duty station. So bottomline had we not helped, we would have been forced to change airline and hotel reservations which we had to book several weeks in advance. Alpha had also had a couple of temp workers who were clearly untrained. For instance, one of these temps would just throw loose things in boxes. My wife had to correct her that you don't lay bottles of shampoo on their sides and then pile lots of other things on top of them. At my destination I would discover a number of items missing, and unfortunately never recovered. It's possible the destination mover "lost" these HHG, of course it wouldn't surprise me if it was Alpha, given Alpha's overall level of workmanship. Great couple of guys: friendly and personable. They were careful with my furniture; wrapped it all in moving blankets and packed it tightly into the truck. I had some very heavy boxes (my mistake overloading them) of books and emergency food supply and they had no problem handling the heavy load up a flight of stairs. They were careful all around as not to damage my wood floors as they put down protection so as not to scratch or soil the floors. Very efficient and timely with what I had to move and will call on them again. read more

Wow are these guys meticulous at what they do. They care so much about how they take care of my items. Carpets covered and taped off so they won't track anything, tons of paper used on all of my china, and very friendly. Will be using again, highly recommend!! read more

Just an update on this horrible company...the "owner" responded on YELP with concern, but I have tried to contact him and never receive a response. I filed a dispute with my credit card and Alpha completely misrepresented me and intimidated the credit card company into paying them. I got NO compensation for anything, and although their representative came TO MY HOME, AND LOOKED IN MY CABINETS, AND KNEW WHAT NEEDED TO BE PACKED, THEY CLAIM I LIED ABOUT HOW MUCH STUFF I HAD. So long story short, I am now without some items and suffered damage to others, and paid double my estimate, and Alpha has taken ZERO financial or ethical responsibility for any of it. If you want a company that could care less about your belongings or whether or not they give you an accurate estimate, then these are your guys. Bottom line, a horrible company who doesnt care about customers or stand behind their work. Could not recommend them less. read more

This is a GREAT company!!! I was stuck in a situation and Jenny worked with me to get my furniture to me. Jenny went above and beyond helping me out. I can't say enough thank you's or how much I appreciate all that Alpha Moving n Storage did for me. The fellows they sent with my furniture rocked!! They were on time, they hustled getting my furniture unloaded, they were polite and fun to work with. I definitely recommend this company and I would use them again. ridiculous moving company spoke with Robert and he sent 3 guys out on fri sept 20 to move our 3 bedroom house they knew in advance what we had they showed up at 9 it took them till 930 to decide where to park ,no covers for shoes so mud and water on our carpets,no bubble wrap or tape to wrap our stuff but they made sure to have their rockstars and snacks as they stood around and talked so forward to 1145 and they are barely arriving with ONE LOAD and when stuff starts to come into my new house no covers for shoes they drop my daughters scooby door cookie jar irreplaceable and break the legs of my dresser after removing the drawers after we were told we didnt have ti remove they would wrap so clothes taken out in rain,and next they dented my dryer and not one of the guys admitted it .and then informed us they wanted to charge for 5 hours when my husband complained and we still had to pay for 3 hours 477.00 ,and no compensation for dryer cookie jar or dresser,they said they would fix dresser it is now tues and I spoke with Robert at 3pm he said that it wasn't happening today them bringing my dresser 3days now omg and he said he didnt believe that the men were disrespectful that he knew them for over a year!!! I am so upset at how unprofessional this company is. Not only did they show up late, take over a half hour to get started, break a piece I have had since a small child that CAN NOT be replaced. They also dented my parents dryer, broke their dresser and tracked mud all throughout our old home and new home. it took them TWO hours to even get to our new house that is 10 minutes away and then tried to charge us for TWO more hours where they were screwing off. They then offered to fix my parents dresser that THEY broke. Now here we are on Tuesday at the end of day with NO dresser. They are refusing to bring it until its convenient for them. All while my parents dont have a dresser. When my mom followed up today since again it is Tuesday and this happpend on Saturday NO one followed up with her. when she spoke with the man he told her there was nothing he could do and called her a liar because the men he has known for "one year would never do this". HA!!!! DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL. And to top it all off when my dad expressed his frustrations to them on Saturday the guys laughed in my dads face. how sweet huh?? awful!!!! read more
