The world's best gymnast has a bit of a hands-on approach here, I'm not sure how much of it she's actually behind, but it is actually a great gym, yes they care more about $$ than anything, but that is identical at every elite facility in Dallas and everywhere else. So we're big fans because of how passionately our niece loves it here, and we recommend it.

From the front office staff, to the coaches, to the owners, I can talk with any of them like I've known them my whole life. I ask a TON of questions bc I never did gymnastics and all this is so new to me and they always take the time to answer everything and not make me feel dumb for not knowing. My daughter is part of the xcel program and has grown so much in skills and mindset since joining. She feels like the coaches -Casey, Averie, Maggie, Cameron, Natalie, all of them, have seriously pushed her and supported her in her journey. Something I was worried about with joining a more competitive gym was the pressure and stigma that followed gymnastics through the 90's. Obviously a lot has changed since then, but even so I have never witnessed or felt like that here. Also, at a previous gym it was suggested and almost preferred that in order for your athlete to truly succeed you better get private lessons. This place does not do that. They offer them if the coaches feel it is truly necessary and beneficial but they don't push it like I've witnessed before. My daughter at one point was having a mental block with two skills and I was asking about private lessons but Coach Casey was confident we could work past it. Unfortunately comps were getting closer and so we ended up doing one private and it truly helped push her through it. The patience's and persistence with her is so appreciated. She's kind of a perfectionist and gets in her head (don't they all?) but all the coaches have a way of getting through to her and helping. I highly recommend this gym and the several programs they offer from young kids to big kids and by big kids I mean the amazing talented high school athletes in elite and 9/10 levels (which are so fun to watch). I am so grateful to watch my daughter grow with WCC and cannot wait to see how far she'll go in the sport.

Due to our schedules we booked our first paid lesson on 8/27/2021 we enjoyed that lesson as well. Booked our second lesson on 9/3/2021 which I had cancel due to traveling issues. I called and left message on 9/2/2021 to reschedule. I never heard back from BallroomX. The following week my husband and I got sick. So our focus was not on our lessons. However on 9/13/2021 BallroomX drafted $393.53 out of our account. Our student enrollment agreement states that the monthly payment starting 9/20/2021. That would mean the first draft was 7 days early. I called and left another message on 9/14/2021 and again on 9/23/2021. No one called me back. On 10/6/2021 the second draft came out of our account again two weeks early. I called on 10/7/2021 and spoke with Anthony who said when he got in front of computer to look up our account he could call me back. No call back again...  Once again I called left another message on 10/8/2021, voicing my frustration and my Intent to cancel my student agreement. About 30mins later I got call however the connection was bad and could not hear what the gentleman was saying. I did hear him say he would call me back. I didn't get a call back. I sent email on 10/8/2021 to cancel our agreement & get a refund. Did not get returned email or call back. I've seen some kids really develop their talent at JC Sports. It's very impressive.
