You'll get little time with an actual PT, and the aides/assistants aren't always the best--don't always know proper form, etc. With the PT trying to farm out much of the work to these helpers and trying to just be a coordinator/director, you won't get the care you really need...unless you are an athlete under age 35. The PTs seem to focus their time on athletic rehab for true athletes under 35 (and probably really under 30). I came here to begin rehab after a total knee replacement. And I am over 25. Big mistake. Basically wasted almost four of my PT visits from insurance before I had had enough and made a change.

Over the past 25 years, I've been treated for injuries due to overuse at six different physical therapy clinics. Of these six, three were corporate-owned, one was a franchise, and two were owner-owned, including Flex PT. At the corporate-owned and franchise physical therapy clinics, the cleanliness was questionable, it was chaotic, and the therapists always seemed distracted when they were working with patients. He was able to get me in and see me very frequently- I never had to wait more than 10 mins, and could usually get in within an hour of calling for an appointment. Because I had been in a car accident, my insurance was asking me what my care schedule looked like, down the road. When I asked Dr. Lichfield, he gave me a non- committal response. He insisted on seeing me 3x/ wk, which honestly just isn't feasible for me. Every time I saw him, he didn't seem to remember seeing me just a few days ago or the conversation we had. After a couple of months, I stopped seeing Dr. Lichfield due to some racially insensitive remarks he made. As a person of color, I felt very uncomfortable, but I don't typically make a fuss about when I encounter racism, but when it's a medical professional, I needed to stop. His care was good, but he was unexceptional, he didn't seem to remember me despite seeing me two or more times a week for months, and was racially insensitive.

I am currently working reduced hours on light duty, and still cannot schedule an evaluation without missing work. God forbid you ever try to come here for an L&I-covered injury--you would be better served just walking away. I have been treated (or attempted to be treated, at least) for three separate injuries at this office over the past three years, and each visit has been sincerely in enjoyable. It may have been the enormous bill I received after visit when my insurance was out of network, or their insistence that I MUST contact my physician, insurance provide, case manager to get treatment protocols and forms that ONLY THEY NEED related to treatment. Their therapists are great, but everything else related to this practice will give you an enormous headache!

My lower back, hips and core have been weak due to the multiple pregnancies as well as prior injuries so my pelvic floor doesn't have much support. Kerri has taught me all the important exercises that target tiny support muscles I've neglected for years and I feel myself finally getting stronger. I wasn't sure I'd be able to do much with the pain and aches that was often debilitating and kept seeming to pop up on different locations but Kerri is definitely a pro and I'm excited about the progress we've been making! I've been to many PTs before for different ongoing injuries and Kerri is by far my favorite. The office is also clean, spacious and I like that treatment areas are more private than in some other offices. Though my interactions with others is minimal, everyone else I've engaged with has been super friendly and efficient.

He did not even bother to give his name until I asked. There was no warmth, no effort to connect, and no sign that he had any real interest in the patient in front of him. At times, he simply disappeared, leaving me without supervision. I also brought exercises from my physician, as recommended by my chiropractor. He flipped through them with complete indifference and offered no useful comment at all. I have been a patient at Kaufman since 2012, and I hold the doctors, billing staff, and front office in very high regard. They have earned my respect over the years. This review is about one rehab experience only and should not be taken as a reflection of the rest of the practice. As for this therapist, he seems better suited to selling athletic shoes than working with patients.
