Wyatt and his team have helped me recover from neck and hip injuries. I found the traction and deep tissue work to give immediate pain relief and lasting improvement over time. The facility is large and clean and there is a lot of equipment to use. I really enjoyed doing the exercises there with the staff and the at home exercise assignments were helpful. Buyer Beware. This review is for the administration, not for the actual therapy staff. The therapists are great, but when it comes to working with insurance and billing, they will 100% leave you hanging and put in as little effort possible working with insurance. I was under the assumption that my visits were covered, and when I directly asked the PT staff, they told me that I was still within my allowed visits. But I got a bill from Therapeutic Associates (TA) for almost $3000, because it seems the last 2 months of visits were denied by my insurance. They let me have 2 months worth of visits without letting me know that my insurance had denied the claims. Then when I called insurance to ask, they needed TA to send in details about the visits to deem them "medically necessary." TA took almost a month to get that paperwork to my insurance. Every time I called TA, the person that could help wasn't around. They told me they'd call back, and they never did. I kept calling week after week. Finally, they submitted paperwork to my insurance for review, and my insurance denied the claims again, stating that based on the information from the visits, they deemed the PT sessions "not medically necessary." So, TA allowed me to have 2 months of appointments, instructing me to make more appointments, when their paperwork couldn't even show that the appointments were "medically necessary." Then I got a call from TA, saying that they did everything they could with my insurance, and that I'd need to pay the $3000. I called my insurance again, and it turned out that there were unused visits, and they reversed the denied claim. Now, TA still shows a $3000 bill, even though my insurance says it should only be a copay. And the Billing Department at TA won't answer the phone. I've left 2 voicemails and haven't got a call back. If you go here, just make sure you understand what your insurance is covering, and double check before each visit. They will not help you work with insurance. They will not answer the phone at the billing department. read more

Recognize me as soon as I walk in the door and strike up conversation. I've worked with several different therapists and they're all great. They listen to what you have to say about how things are working. They take that into account with progress and how to move you forward toward your goal. They personalize all of your routines to fit your needs while still helping you push yourself a little to reach results. They all seem very sincere and interested in getting you back to where you were before the injury or even better than before. read more

This place is amazing. I had chronic pain in my neck and shoulder because of bad posture and weak muscles for almost 4 years. And recently I also developed a bad muscle spasm in my lower back. I had tried everything to strengthen the muscles and fix the neck pain including another physical therapy clinic. But it always ended up flaring my pain up even more. And now after doing about 3 months of physical therapy at therapeutic associates, my pain is gone and my muscles are so much stronger and my posture so much better. Wyatt and team have been amazing in terms of creating my treatment plan for both the upper back, neck and shoulder area as well as the lower back and helping me get stronger gradually at just the right pace. Wyatt, Cameron and everyone there is super friendly and my sessions were always super fun and I used to look forward to them. They did wonders for my pain when I had almost given up on it. I recently finished my treatment here and it was a terrific experience. Kevin Norris is an excellent physical therapist, very good at understanding symptoms, explaining exercises (and why they will help), and helped diagnose the pain I was feeling. He also recommended good specialists and MRI centers. The entire team is very friendly, especially Ember at the front desk. The facility as a whole runs very smoothly, a mark of good management. The results speak for themselves. In the beginning, I could only hobble around with significant pain. By the end of my treatment, I can do almost any regular activity with nearly zero discomfort. Absolutely furious about the exorbitant charges from Therapeutic Associates! I had some lower back pain and went in to get some basic massage/PT. Kept telling me that I would need to take it VERY slowly and keep coming in for several weeks. Did very little actual work on me but mostly gave me exercises to do and then watched me do them. Started getting the bills much later and they ranged from $280-$300 per hour! No wonder they wanted me to take it slowly, at those kind of rates! I stopped going after 6 visits because I really wasn't getting any benefit and I can do the same exercises at home for free. Way overpriced for what they actually did - feel like I was scammed! Would not recommend this place at all. read more

All four members of my family have been treated at Canyon Park with the best possible results. I have been there multiple times for different injuries. It is important that I work with people that I trust and respect. All of the staff meet that description and go over and above to make sure that we move forward to full recovery. My 10 year old son has autism and the therapists worked with me to help make him comfortable and to feel secure while he got better. They have taken the time to get to know us personally which makes them better able to assist us in recovery. I have been to other p.t. offices in the past and I did not have that kind of service. Four weeks ago I had a shoulder impingement and thought I was going to have to live with pain and limited use of my arm.
