I am a licensed professional engineer with 11 years of industry experience. I read and also write failure analysis reports at work. I am detail oriented, but like to keep it short and sweet in a report writing. I was genuinely surprised see high level details in a roof assessment. Pictures were high quality. I bought an old house and it needed a new roof before any insurance company would insure me. Peter, the owner, from Alpha roofing gave me a fast quote. When the day came to remove the old shingles they found rotting wood and replaced the "decking" which is just a fancy word for plywood that goes under the shingles. They installed ice and water barrier and a ridge vent which helps with circulation. The team was professional and friendly including Paul the job foreman. Don't try to save a buck when you are dealing with something as important as a roof which will last 25 years. The other quotes I got didn't offer to remove all layers. They were done in one day 7am -7pm. They charged the price on the quote that I got for closing on my house and didn't try to increase it after the fact like some roofers do. read more

The estimator was extremely clear, polite and helpful in helping me understand the choices available to me. 3. The estimator found a mistake in the estimation of the size of my roof. He readily noticed the roof on my house was smaller than the satellite measurements obtained. He volunteered this information and proceeded to climb the roof and measure the roof himself. He was honest about the mistake and corrected it even if I was not aware of the original miscalculation. 4. When you find a great roofing company, it is exciting because not all roofers are the same. My insurance agent referred them as "an honest & hardworking" roofing company, so I thought I would check them out. Soon after calling them, Peter Brady came out to assess the damage to our roof. He was very thorough and what I liked best was that he showed me pictures and explained everything clearly. He is a great communicator who not only knows what he is doing, but he takes the time to listen & patiently answer any questions (yes, I am that person who asks a million questions). I wanted Alpha Roofing to come before my homeowners insurance appraiser came so I would be more familiar with my roof, with roofing and with the damages that should be noted. Do you want a roofing company that stands behind their work - NO MATTER WHAT? Then Alpha Roofing is the company for you. My insurance adjuster recommended them to replace my roof after hail damage. I was very impressed with their service from start to finish. But when I encountered an issue several weeks AFTER the job was completed, that is when their service blew me away! Unbeknownst to us, a tube for the air conditioner was touching the underside of the roof decking in the attic, which apparently is against code. One of the roofing nails punctured the tube, and the freon leaked out. This unit serves a little used part of the house, so I didn't discover it until 3 weeks later. The A/C repair was over $1000. I called Ryan with Alpha while the A/C repairman was here. Ryan paid him with a credit card right on the spot. I was so relieved! I doubt any other roofing company would have been so devoted to customer service...so now I'm devoted to them. If you choose Alpha Roofing, you won't regret it! read more
