Nice people I guess but service was poor. Multiple times I was asked if installers could come out with less than 24 hours notice. One time I came home to find shims and other install related trash lying around. There were multiple marks on the countertop but no one communicated with me what the plan was to address them, I had to reach out. There was a defect in the countertop that they didn't catch before install and it took months to have it replaced. Like months and months and months. Lots of hassle and they still charged me full price after it was all over. They didn't even try to make it right, just acted like "here's your bill" as though I had had a normal experience. Definitely not the best estimate I got as far as price but I went with them because of all the great reviews; I wish that I hadn't because of all the trouble I ended up going through anyway AND paying more. Not worth the mark up. read more

My wife and I decided to be the general contractor on our kitchen remodel. Which means we were the ones that had to interview and hire or not each trade. We went to several countertop contractors before stopping in at Alpha Stone Works. Our first contact at Alpha was Kaileen We told her what we were doing and what we wanted in our new kitchen. She sat down with us and drew up a rough sketch of what we wanted for our countertops. We looked at samples in their warehouse and she helped us pick out our quartz countertops. We set up a time for Alpha to come out and measure, what we would need for our kitchen. Chris came out and with a very amazing laser and measured up our kitchen in no time. When they came out to install the countertops I was absolutely amazed how well that they fit. Just got granite countertops installed by these guys and they looks great. Customer service and communication was excellent throughout the whole experience. I like the fact that they're a small family-owned business, yet they have the facilities to do their own fabrication. Also, if you're interested in buying remnants (pieces of stone leftover from other jobs) to save a little money, they keep an inventory online. Bonus for actually doing measurements / installation on the days we scheduled for + showing up on time. This review is going to be broken down into 4 parts. We asked for a bid for countertops, backsplash, sink, etc from 9 different fabricators. Alphas bid came as one of our highest of 9 fabricators. But yet, it was competitive overall. Other fabricators only gave us quotes back on countertop and sink install. When you factor in sub-contracting other people in and their prices, Alpha still held our attention. Here's why we took their bid. When we sent bids out to everyone, we wanted a company that could quote us on doing all that wanted done: countertop, backsplash, sink install, faucet install, plumbing. I didn't want to have to call around and sub-contract out everything. But was looking for a company that could handle it for us. There were only 2 of the 9 that gave us back full quotes covering all that we asked. We also went with them as they were recommended by multiple people and even Elemar Stone supplier. Countertop: The countertops were cut and look great. I did my own kitchen demo because I was remodeling my cabinets at the time. The only negative we have is the seams. Since we have a busy veined pattern, it would be extremely hard to hide the seam. Despite Alphas very cool program to try and match the patterns of cut pieces, it didn't quite line up to our expectations. But again, it's the pattern of the stone, not their quality of work. Since I'm not an installer, the only other thing I wish could have been done with the seams is, instead of using a white epoxy between the seam, I would have dyed (if possible) the epoxy to a more matching color of the countertop stone. I'm going to find out if I can dye the seam after the fact. Again, this is the smallest of issues. If we had used a more conventional stone with a repeating pattern, the seam would have been invisible. Backsplash: Alpha sent Tony, a person they use for tile, from Inter Tile Inc. Tony was fantastic. I would highly recommend him. Plumbing: Alpha sent us Mike and I'm sorry to say I don't know his company name, but he too was extremely nice and did a fantastic job. Alpha: The people at Alpha were very helpful, nice, and went out of their way for us. They are a smaller, family run business and that personal treatment is what you'll receive from them. If I could give them a zero I would. They seem to have a great selection of products but are not at all interested in selling anything. We need new counter tops. We've emailed them multiple times, sent them countertop plans, left voicemails. For weeks. Not a single response to any form of inquiry we've made. Very disappointing. read more

Chris oversaw the project, Kirk and Alex installed counters and sink perfectly plus gave me very helpful artistic input, Andre graciously showed me the counters in process and cut me a sample to select tile, either Andre or Pascal gave my counters a fabulous 'leathered" finish.
