    Timby's Dip & Strip

I found Timby's after about a month of toiling away trying to strip 50 different layers of paint off an antique dresser while simultaneously obsessing over not ruining the piece. Timby's Dip & Strip will take your wood and metal furniture, building materials, etc and put it through their stripping process. The end result- PERFECTION. The owners/staff are really great people and the prices are good (especially when you consider what your time is worth). I wish I had found them sooner!

    This was bright yellow!

Front door with glass had MANY layers of paint. In a week it was returned to us with great precision. Debra and Tim are fabulous about their work, super knowledgable and gave me many pointers on the finish procedure after I got the door home. The door made it through the process superbly - due to their excellent work. Will recommend heartily.

They even knew my pets names the first day. We hired Matt to paint the entire inside and outside of our house, the outside of our shed and shop, and pressure wash our driveway and patio. Matt bid the high-end Benjamin Moore outdoor paint by default, which was competitively priced with the lower end paint bids by others. The other unique item was Matt's work came with a 5-year workmanship warranty. If I had questions or thought something needed to be touched-up, Matt answered questions or touched up work no questions asked. He wanted to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was when added to the scope of work. I sent photos, he gave a bid, and we agreed to the price. When he came to the house, Matt said he could do the work less and reduced his bid even though we already agreed to the higher amount. Matt's team are good painters and it's clear he takes pride in the quality of his work. I strongly recommend him and would hire him again. The only heads-up I would give (not a negative, just a heads up) is if you want any texturing work done, make sure to communicate your expectations with Matt. Matt was clear with us regarding his team's texturing limitations, which I appreciated. Matt did a good job sanding and texturing to remove an obvious line across the middle of the room, this isn't part of his normal scope that was included in our bid.

At bid time he seemed very knowledgeable about working on older homes and the lead paint procedure, explaining his process and answering all questions we had for him. He had our bid to us in a day. He had a team of 3, Randy, Brandon and Lee, each one as hard working as Matt. Impressive having them here and our neighbors commented about how professional they all were. We absolutely love the outcome of our house. So labor intensive and no short cuts. Highly recommend with the highest rating possible.

They left the job site very clean each day and at the end of the job, and were punctual and professional. Pricing was fair, work was stellar. Highly recommend. Would definitely hire them again.

They worked really hard the whole time and were perfectionists about quality. I had a hiccup with my job -- I had a big sticker on my closet doors and it took off paint when I removed it! Jeff worked out a solution with me, to take the doors off-site and sand them all the way down. I appreciated that he didn't charge me full price since it was an unexpected cost. I also had a hiccup with a door that wouldn't close properly after painting. (It was probably a very tight fit before painting). This door also needed some off-site work to shave down the top, so it would close correctly. The team came back on a Saturday morning to bring me the restored closet doors. These little pain points come up with lots projects. You need a company that will take care of things when everything doesn't go perfectly. ESP will make sure everything is taken care off.
