Now, in cleaning out my late parent's home, we returned there, boxes of books in hand, and donated them so that they will be available for others to take home and enjoy. There is a huge selection of nonfiction and fiction books available for sale in a separate room. No title costs over $1. This wonderful treasure has been open for many years, and I hope it continues for many more.

The selection is large, and if you can't find something you're looking for, the staff will add your request to a list and call you when that book is available. Support this local used books store and enjoy the atmosphere. And if you have large amounts of books to donate, call them first. They're staffed by volunteers and they could use a bit of a heads up.

Such a great selection, pricing was reasonable for the value, condition and selections. I purchased two books, with others on my list for my next visit. On the porch area, there is a section for FREE books and when you enter you will see NEW arrivals before you make your way through and see other categories such as banned books, horror, espanol, cooking, and historical. It's super cute, quiet and you'll fall in love with the ambiance. The children's section is great! Also, another cute detail was the small mini refrigerator with a sign that read "Have a FREE beverage on us!" I selected the Berry Vanilla Bubly Sparking water. I could spend hours in a place like this, and I have. Usually find things I didn't even know I needed. I try 9 out of 10 times to buy used books from a local source. Unfortunately, I was not able to find the list of books I was looking for but I still had a great time looking around. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The set up is visually pleasing with different departments clearly labeled. Up the stairs is the more "book" part of the book store whereas the first floor is all Aggies merch. I do think the prices on merch items are competitive and reasonable which is an excellent quality of any college campus to have. Make sure to stop by and grab your Pistol Pete t-shirt to represent those Aggies!
