Got the confirmation that we were able to schedule pickup ... lo and behold no appoints until Tuesday.. called them and was told they're by appointments only. After further research I called back explained the situation and again was told by appointments only. Told the lady that Arizona statue 28-4847 states they're obligated to release the vehicle the day dues are paid and released by the creditor during normal business hours regardless of appointment availability. She again told me appointments only, when asked if I needed a police escort to get my vehicle back she responded with "if that's what you need to do" so I went to the tow yard prepared to wait for a civil standby with police but had zero issue picking up the vehicle without an appointment. Once getting my vehicle back I noticed damage to the door panel which appears someone attempted to pry it open and have since had issues with a fuse that's associated with my locks. read more

If your vehicle is released to you through the bank or whoever and you've paid your dues, do NOT let Alpha Towing *try* to bully you into scheduling and waiting extra days to release your vehicle! Scheduled an appointment on Friday but it got cancelled, called on Monday with a guy named V or something and explained my situation and he said my vehicle was ready for pick up, NO MENTION OF APPOINTMENTS. I said i was going to come right now, the time i had called was 2:13 roughly and I live an hour away from the location. The rep said, okay after i had said i was going to leave to get my vehicle at that moment. I get there 10 minutes before closing and there is no one at the front desk, there was others in the building that i had spoke in person with at the gate, and i had told them that i had told the rep i spoke with on the phone and i had told him that i was going there right now to get my vehicle and they kept telling me that i had to schedule an appointment. ALL JUST TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE. Not only that but when i had spoke with the man named V on the phone he was very hard to hear and mumbled a lot, and i told him that i already had a key but he was still trying to tell me that since they dont have a key that theyre going to charge me a fee because they dont have a key after i had said 3 times that i already have one. I told him that i would call him back and call Resolvion about the key situation and he said okay to that too, i procceeded to call Resolvion and explained my situation and they attempted to call Alpha to let them know i already had a key and no fee was needed for a new key. she said she called them two times with no answer and sent them an email. by this time im already on the road to the location, i decided to call them myself only to be met with a voicemail saying the office hours are from 9:15AM to 3PM??? when their website and google maps and apple maps location say they close at 4PM. My vehicle was picked up with my child's car seat still in it I attempted multiple days to retrieve at least my car seat after my vehicle was paid an hour after they took it would not allow me to retrieve property claiming they were too busy even though the law states I have a right to claim my property during business hours. Then on the day of my appointment I arrived at my scheduled time and waited over 40 minutes after they checked my id for them to release my vehicle to me while they took care of everyone claiming property that came after me. I just witnessed this (Alpha Recovery Tow Truck) company towing a Camaro from the apartments across the street from my house. They then pulled around the corner (right outside my window) and illegally broke into the vehicle they were towing. They proceeded removing the car owner's property and putting it into their pockets. After taking everything their little hearts desired, they put the car back onto the tow truck, damaging the front bumper in the process. This whole situation is completely outrageous! I honestly didn't have that great of an experience with this company. I was told my car was here. So, I went to go pick up my stuff. I got there and they told me I needed to make an appointment. So, that was annoying. Gas is too high to be making unnecessary trips. I don't know why I wasn't told that to begin with... Irritating! I made an appointment for the following week. It was easy to make an appointment online. But, if you don't know your vin, it'll be a hassle. So, be prepared. The day of my appointment, I ended up having to reschedule because they charge $50 to pick up your things, cash only. Again, super annoying. Third time around, I got my appointment, I got my cash, and I'm ready to pick up my items. I get there, and the doors are locked. I wasn't sure if it was open or not, but the sign said open... You can't enter the building, but employees will open the door for you. But, you have to knock super hard on the door did someone to open the door... You have to check-in outside, then wait outside for them to bring you your stuff. I waited for the guy to bring myself, which was about 5 mins, and while I'm checking, I noticed they didn't have everything. So, I waited another 5 mins for them to collect all of my things. He comes back and I'm making sure that I have everything, and everything seems to be there. I load my car up with things, and head home. I don't know why, but something told me to check my coin purse... I use it as my "tip jar." But, I check my coin purse and my money is gone!!! It was only a few dollars, but, how the fck are you going to charge me $50 to go get my stuff and then steal from me?! The audacity!!! I already felt robbed from having to pay to get my stuff in the first place!!! So, that just left a bad, bad taste in my mouth. It was just an overall sad and disappointing experience. Want to start off my review that when I found my car had been Repo'd I wasn't sure what to think and I was freaking out. I read all the negative reviews here. I spoke to my finance company and they told me the incorrect information on how to get the process of getting my vehicle back. Alpha has a process of how one can get their vehicles back as in my case. Yeah it sucks you can't get it same day but they have a process of how it works. Thru my lender, I did not have to pay any fees when my car was picked up early Friday and I got it Tuesday morning. Something you have to discuss with finance company in my case. Once everything went through the process was easy. Had to be patient and wait for the confirmation text for my appointment once the finance company said everything was good and the system sent it over to Alpha which I was told would take a few hours. I showed up at my confirmed time and someone came out to greet me and get my info and get my keys to pull the car up. I got my car back in the same condition I had left it in. My car was here for a few days and I had no missing items and everything seems so far so good. I totally get other people's negative reviews and frustration with their experience so your mileage may vary however I followed the steps and what was posted on alphas site. Upon arriving for my property redemption the only thing I was told prior was that there would be a $25 fee. I went with the impression that the fee would allow me access to the car to obtain my own property. However, once I paid them they pulled out 2 large dirty plastic bins to give me. Apparently they took it upon themselves to collect my things & when doing so carelessly tossed everything in said bins. One of which must have been wet & no one bothered to check first. The things from my trunk & everything else put in same bin reeked of moldy water from the bags & blankets that were soaked with stinky liquid. They sealed it with the lid & left it sitting outside in the sun like that for the week it had been there. Thats the worst part. Then they wouldn't give me my stereo system or my spare tire (which I bought separately cuz I got car from used dealer, so it didn't come with one. They didn't give me the brakes that were in the trunk either. When I asked about my system & tire the "manager" that came out had no sense of customer service cuz he had a rude tone with me from the get. He completely disregarded everything I told him & walked away while I was still talking to him. Worst part is after I got an email that said "signed documents" from them which means they forged my signature as well cuz I was so furious I didn't sign anything. Before I left, I recommended to the worker there that they should make a point to mention somewhere to people that they will not have access to the vehicle & their things will be getting collected for them. Also, anything installed in the vehicle is not accessible. Had I known that I wouldn't have bothered going cuz the only thing of value was the system they wouldn't give me. That still doesn't explain why they kept my spare seeing as it wasn't bolted down into the car or the brakes that were in the trunk. But they unscrewed my license plate? Basically, they do what they want which is shady as hell! At the very least the employees should care enough to look inside the bins before just throwing peoples stuff in them! All my things smelled disgusting because someone didn't care at all about my property when putting it in a wet stinky bin to sit in the sun & get smellier. This company was actually amazing. I set up the appointment to pick up my vehicle went earlier then my scheduled time Hunter was the one who helped get my vehicle to us. There was a small scratch by the bumper honestly I am not sure if I would have noticed if it was not pointed out by Hunter. He said he spoke with his boss and as they checked the outside of the vehicle to make sure no other scratches they noticed my back tires needed to be replaced. Well his boss Fernando had left message to call him regarding the scratch and how to repair it. Fernando ended up offering to get 4 new tires put on the vehicle at no charge to us which is amazing, and very uncommon for any repo company to offer something like this. We where just moving so my car was full with all our clothes plus home equipment and nothing I mean nothing was touched. This is a legit review and am more then happy to answer any question for anyone. They don't work with you at all. They want to be by appointment only regardless of the situation - I had to get the police involved to get them to let me into my vehicle to retrieve my daughters car seat and medication. Legally they cannot withhold your personal belongings, but they'll force you to jump through hoops to get them. Not to mention you call and get an automated recording that's on a loop - no way to leave a message or get in touch with a human, and they do not respond to emails. So you're basically screwed if you have an emergency situation. Bottom line, they're god awful. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with these imbeciles. Truly they are scum. read more
