They must not inspect vehicles because after buying a used car, the gas tank wouldn't fill past 3/4's. Took it back and they said they found nothing wrong so I have to pick it up and try again instead of them testing the problem. They wouldn't add gas to see the actual problem. Picked it up, took it to a gas station and it did the same thing. I moved it around a little and tried again and gas would flow but there's obviously an issue that they don't care to fix. Go anywhere else but here to buy a car. Also, why so many workers standing around in the lobby but I have to wait hours every time I have to come down there even when I have an appointment after checking in. Ridiculous. read more

Purchased a 2023 Subaru Accent in June by August, we had to pay $400 to Subaru dealer to update the software. Echo erased the code so they wouldn't need to fix it. Be careful who you buy from. Make sure they've been around and are reputable. I guess this is what i get by saving a couple of thousands. I hope they see this and make me whole. It was not under warranty. I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership Echo Park Avondale, AZ I scheduled a visit to test drive a vehicle I found online and arrived prepared to purchase the vehicle with my own financing already secured. Unfortunately, after spending more than 90 minutes at the dealership, I never even got to see or test drive the vehicle. My salesperson, Kim ( a dishonest,disheveled, incompetent ,ungroomed, inappropriate unprofessional man), repeatedly failed to provide basic information I requested. When I asked for the battery State of Health (SOH) report, I was instead shown tire tread information. It took approximately 40 minutes just to receive a copy of the Carfax report. He wanted me to look at his iPad when I asked for a paper copy. I was told the dealership could not locate the vehicle key because another employee, Hayden, had checked it out and was on lunch. I waited over an hour and a half for the key to be returned, but the vehicle was never made available. I was later told that I would receive a call once the key was returned. When I asked to speak with a manager, Austin came out and assured me that someone would follow up. As of today, I have still not received any communication from either the salesperson or management. I also requested a call from the General Manager and have not received a response. The only employee who provided professional and courteous customer service was Michelle, who handled appointment scheduling. Overall, I felt my time was not respected, communication was poor, and the dealership was unprepared to assist a customer who was ready to purchase a vehicle. Based on my experience, I would recommend that potential buyers do thorough research and ask detailed questions before doing business here. read more

When we bought our vehicle, there were several things wrong and the sales rep assured us that we could bring the car back and have them fixed. We called to schedule the service and it took five days for someone to get back to us. Once I did get an appointment scheduled, I drove down and spent the day in their lobby waiting for next steps. They weren't able to do anything without ordering parts. The service rep informed me that the work that the sales rep assured me could be done would have to be approved first. So now, I might have to pay additional money to repair a car that I bought because the sales rep assured me "no problem- we can get that taken care of." They tell me that they need to wait for the parts to come in and they'll call me back to schedule our next service appointment. Seven days later- no call. I call them. Their remote (not in or near the Avondale location) phone reps try to connect me to several numbers (Avondale Service Department and two numbers for the front desk) and none of them work- not voicemail- literally non-working numbers. So I call back again and they say they have "submitted a ticket to the service department and someone should be getting back to me soon." It seems to me that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. In the meantime, I have a vehicle that I purchased on the condition that basic service needs would be addressed and this company is completely unreachable. Very disappointing. He tried to say there was an engine noise in idle.. sitting in the car now and no noise and never has had any noise. I purchased a 2023 Hyundai Kona SEL Electric car from Echo Park in Avondale on March 28th, 2026 and the finance manager or sales person never disclosed to me that they were taking my vehicle registration that I paid until May 2027 and used it to pay for my new registration. In my eyes, these should be two different transactions. This seems very shady. I should have received a check from the DMV for overpaying on my old car. Which I usually get with each new car I purchased in the past. I thought I was paying for a brand-new registration for my 2023 Hyundai SEL Electric car, but the DMV said they used my refund to pay for part of my new registration. I feel like the dealership did this to make more profit. The finance person only talked to me for about 2 minutes. They never asked how I wanted the title of my car. I felt like they didn't go over things well. If you buy a car from Echo Park, really look over your contract and ask a lot of questions. I would buy a car from Carvana or Car Max to avoid the $699 doc fee and $699 paint protection fee. These are just junk fees to make the dealership rich. So I will start by saying that we did purchase a car from EchoPark. We searched their website for vehicles in the price range that we could afford. We brought in a list of 7 cars we wanted to see. We were told to knock down that list to 3 cars. Were were told that they wanted to run our credit before even seeing a car. They told us that none of the cars on the list would qualify for financing. We left!. An hour later, we were called about a vehicle of interest, and we returned. we were told that this was the only car that they could finance for us. I asked about cars for sale in the same price range. I was told that the lenders they use do not like one brand over another. so basically they had one car take it, or leave again. We did purchase that car. We were at that lot from 10am until 5 pm, except for the hour we went home, and sat and watched everyone who walked in sit for hours! Waited around for 3 hours and spent less than 5 minutes actually speaking to the man assisting us. Purchasing a vehicle should NEVER take this long- especially if majority of the information needed has already been filled out online. Not sure if it's different management but it was disorganized from the start, very little interest in making a legitimate connection, and the vibe felt very volume sales "get 'em in, get 'em out." I'm really disappointed in how Echopark Automotive does business. Truly it's is joke on me. I arrived and was assisted by Josh as the middle man between myself and the buying manager. After a quick 5-10 minute look at my vehicle I was told that the manager stated that he is not interested in this type of car at this time. Then went on to make unneeded accusations that my car has frame damage due to an accident. Which my vehicle has never been in an accident and I do have the Carfax proof. They had exactly the car we were looking for, at a lower price than other dealers, so the hour drive didn't matter. All their staff are friendly and well trained in their method of selling. They are a no negotiation dealer, and have a few high price add-ons that they push including a high document fee and a cleaning and prep charge . We decided to buy and that's when problems started. Either the staff isn't well trained in using the computer program, or the program isn't a good one. Firstly, the contract was written up for the wrong car but with the right VIN. Then it took two hours to get a corrected copy. Then they put the wrong name on the receipt for the deposit. When we came back the next day with the funding, a small scuff on the car hadn't been buffed out as promised, so there was another wait. Would I buy from them again? I probably would give them a chance again. All in all, even the ridiculous no choice charge for what is basically a Scotchgard treatment, we saved between $2500-$3000. read more

Went to a few places before coming here. The other places were kinda sketchy and also had a bunch of hidden fees they didn't mention online. For example, a lot of them require you to finance 90% of the car or they jack up the listing price. But then we came here, and got exactly what was online. All the fees were listed online, and they didn't jack up the price once we were in the building even with buying most of it in cash. Got a great used car. Took one look at it and knew it was the right one. It was clean, and only had very minor cosmetic damage that is covered by the required warranty. That's probably my only gripe. You are required to buy a $699 cosmetic warranty for a used car. But you'll find most used car dealerships do the same. This wasn't hidden by them, and was very clearly listed online. Pretty comprehensive too, so take advantage of it and keep that in mind if you see cosmetic damage. We ended up buying an extended warranty for 4 years/40k miles. Ran about $3,300 for a $17,000 2023 Corolla. But it seemed fair for how comprehensive it is. It covers pretty much everything mechanical besides the catalytic converter. The peace of mind is worth it imo. They also have a 7 day no questions asked return policy and a free 30 day warranty. The staff were super friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to help us out. The facility itself is super nice. It's not the traditional boring gray cubicle. It seemed pretty busy too. They have Spanish speakers who were helping people out. The process to buy the car was very simple. Overall, if you're looking to buy a used car I'd definitely recommend this place. They were upfront with everything, friendly, and we got a fair price compared to other dealerships in the area. read more

Salesman looks deeply and passionately into my eyes and asks if it's worth it to suffer a breakdown? Fair point, except I wouldn't be electing to purchase a vehicle if I didn't reasonably believe it was free of defects. Bro and Broski gang up. EchoPark sold me a car with MOLD!!! Same day I purchased my car I opened the trunk and noticed that there was 3 inches of standing water in the trunk where the spare tire sits and visible mold growth under the tire. I immediately called EchoPark and spoke to the General Sales Manager. I asked to return the vehicle but per the return policy I had already driven too many miles,before I discovered the mold, I drove 3 hours back home the same day of purchase. I requested that they cover a full inspection with Lexus and instead they sent me to PepBoys in my area where I was denied the service because they don't do any water damage inspections. Come to find out the contact at PepBoys was a friend of a friend to the EchoPark sales person. Called corporate, and spoke to Beatriz Marshall then Tiffany Peterson then Brett, David Foster, then Anna after 3 or more calls to EchoPark corporate they finally agreed to pay to have the car inspected by Lexus. Lexus confirmed the Mold growth all throughout the carpeting, headliner and air vents. There is a " service bulletin" that was released by Lexus eight months prior to my purchase of the vehicle addressing that there is possible water leakage into the trunk from the spoiler. Lexus ended up paying over 9,000 dollars and over a month to repair the vehicle. I ended up getting extremely sick and had to see the doctor multiple times due to an upper respiratory infection that developed. Brian Marshall Sales GM and David Foster GM from EchoPark were really quick to tell me that there was nothing that they were willing to do and they said "you should be talking to lexus". Think twice before purchasing your vehicle here. They are not a reliable dealership. And clearly take no interest in customer, safety, or pride, in inspecting the vehicle they're selling. Spoke to Karen Flowers over the phone regarding a Ram truck. She was very persistent on having me come to the dealership in person. I asked her to send me the window sticker first so I could make sure the vehicle had all options that I wanted. She told me to check the website which I did. I informed her that the window sticker wasn't available on her site or through Carfax (which it normally is). She said very rudely "Well I don't know what to tell you". I asked if she could take a look to let me know if I'm doing something wrong to which she replied "that doesn't matter, when are you coming in??" Recently bought my car at this location with the help of Elizabeth and Austin. This dealership is different (you can't negotiate); where the salesperson tells you they don't care if they sell a car today or not because they don't get commission--which is a weird motto to have for a place that still needs to sell products? We got to test drive vehicles, and the person helping us didn't really know stuff about the car besides the basics and had to request others for help. Both employees were nice though and when i decided to purchase the car, the process of signing was quick except for the fact we had to wait probably 30 mins for our salesperson to actually come to the dealer.
