The. Best. Daycare. They are so sweet to my toddler who loves each teacher at the school. He is far ahead of kids his age that we play with at gym and other. Their curriculum is so appropriate and they do such a good job teaching manners. My not even 2 year old says please and thank you for every ask, unprompted and I will give most of that credit to his teachers! Cannot talk highly enough of the staff. read more

Awful daycare, awful director, awful staff , wouldn't recommend to anyone! There are other places to send your kids.

Alphabet Acres was recommended to us by a neighborhood family and they were everything we hoped for and then some! My son started when he was 4 months old and stayed there till he moved onto kindergarten. At my sons parent teacher conference, his teacher immediately asked what daycare he attended because he was noticeably ahead of the average kid his age. My daughter also attends and wakes up so excited to go there! Kim Is truly a one of a kind person and makes you feel so comfortable if you have any questions or concerns. Everyone at alphabet acres goes above and beyond and we are very lucky to have found this place! You will not regret giving this wonderful place a shot!! read more

This is the best daycare hands down. Kim (the owner) is so sweet and super helpful. Both of my kids have gone here their whole life and love the staff, eat the best foods (even organic and healthy!) another huge positive is their curriculum, my kid was more then ready for kindergarten!! We were looking for a short-term childcare and we called every place in the area to see if they would take our 1.5-year-old. All the places we called had opening but didn't want to be bother by taking in a family that was going to be temporary. Kimberly did not hesitate to accept us and let us be a part of an awesome family. During her short time at daycare, we saw how much she has developed because of the loving and nurturing environment. We have our kids currently at Alphabet Acres, so we are familiar with every room and all of the teachers! Miss Kim, the Director, is genuinely kind, incredibly responsive, level-headed and gives each family and child her full attention. She and many of the teachers raised/raising children of their own and are great parenting resources too! I LOVE her team - the teachers really make this place shine. They are CALM and truly care about your children. Baby room: I never thought I'd put my infant in daycare until AA. They have baby experts!! Helped her get on a schedule, sleep/nap better and lots of tummy and floor time to develop/thrive. Toddler rooms: Patient and warm staff that are helping my little one potty train, count, learn the calendar and be creative! Just as much free/play time as structured time - a nice balance! Preschool rooms: These teachers are loving and firm. They reinforce respect, teach writing and early reading and have FUN!! My daughter loves FUN Fridays! My family loves this daycare. My son started here when we moved to the area and had to leave a daycare we absolutely loved. The staff worked with us to make the transition as smooth as possible and ease all of my (many!) worries. We now have two kids enrolled and couldn't be more happy. The director, Kim, is responsive and so, so kind. I trust her not only with my kids during the day, but with parenting advice and helpful tips for home. She is wonderful. The infant room teachers are truly baby magicians, and the toddler teachers are nothing but kind, FUN, and responsible. What stands out most is how much my older son is learning. He is almost two and is counting, knows many letters, and is learning his manners and about sharing. Best daycare in the world! I never have to worry or think twice about my kiddo in there. We've been going there for over a year. I have nothing but nice things to say about all the levels of daycare and preschool here. The teachers are caring, honest, and I never see a cell phone out (can't say the same for nannies I see out in the community). My kids have been going since 15months old. My son is 22 months and daughter is currently 3.5. Both kids come home with age appropriate projects and have lots of information and songs they've learned. My daughter will come home often with letter tracing, letter recognition and sounds. When my kids struggled to get used to starting, Kim the director, was so understanding and helpful to get them to ultimately feel comfortable and enjoy going to school. My 10 month old granddaughter started at Alphabet Acres a little over 2 months ago. My daughter and I couldn't be happier with the care they provide. It's a warm and caring environment. This is not a place where babies are fed, changed, and warehoused. These people genuinely love kids and it shows! They know and enjoy each individual child's personality. I couldn't possibly say everything I would like to about this place. My sons started here in the baby room when they were 6 months and 6 weeks old (respectively). The owner, Kim, is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Not only has she been EXTREMELY flexible with switching days, she is COMPLETELY involved in not only running this place (which really should be called a preschool more than a daycare), but truly getting to know each child to the extent that she gave my son (who loves hockey) hockey gloves when he started skating and a backpack full of school supplies when he "graduated". He just entered kindergarten, and thanks to Alphabet Acres, knows his numbers, letters, writing, starting to read, addition, subtraction, Spanish, how to share, how to treat people and more! My son attended Alphabet acres for 1 year before he started preschool, and I can't say enough great things about this daycare. Kim the owner is so dedicated to the kids and her staff. The teachers are wonderful and really work with the kids to help them learn their numbers and letters. They even started working on site words with my son! My daughter has been there since she was about 5 months old, she's now 2! We found Alphabet Acres after abruptly leaving a "big box" daycare with all the bells and whistles but the care was majorly lacking. AA felt right the minute we walked in. Kim and her staff are warm, dedicated and immediately put me at ease. It's the warmth of in home with the benefits of a licensed daycare facility. The food options are great, they were so accommodating for my daughters diet restrictions as a baby. They provide most food and beverage items and are great about reminding you to bring in necessary items, they even wash her clothes when she had accidents. The teachers and Kim will send me emails or texts with photos when my daughter does something funny or cute, they also do the most adorable and thoughtful gifts for us at the holidays. But above all, my daughter absolutely loves it there! I literally can't say enough wonderful things about this daycare and am so happy we decided to switch. Kim and her husband work so hard to make this a place where you know your child is not only taken care of and educated but also loved. My daughter attended this daycare for 2.5 years before going to Kindergarten, after it having been recommended to me by two different friends. It was a wonderful experience for both of us. The center is set up to provide a calm atmosphere, not nearly as chaotic as some. All the teachers work well together to welcome and support the children in their growth. The friendly director/owner is there often and ready to answer any questions or help you with whatever help you might need. The teachers provided a good balance between language, reading, math, and gross and fine-motor learning as well as teaching social and team-building skills. As an Elementary teacher myself, I was impressed how the teachers differentiated the work for each student, to ensure my daughter was challenged to learn at her level. In the afternoons, she would get individualized attention when working on math or other skills. The teachers genuinely seem to enjoy working with each of the kids! They have an outdoor playground as well as an indoor room for gross-motor play and special play days, like Sports Day. During the summer, she enjoyed the optional field trips. I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for a daycare where your child will learn a lot and have fun in calm, safe environment! read more
