They were responsive, they cared about my situation, and we finally found the problem and now it is resolved. The easy thing would have been to recommend a replacement, but they stuck to it. Good job and thanks for the persistence.

Be aware Reynolds Electric appears to overcharge for electrical parts…read more We had some work done by Reynolds Electric and A/C service (Sherman,TX) around 8/29/25 (the work took a couple of weeks). For that project one line item we were quoted was 6000 ft of THHN-10-BLACK-STRANDED wire at a cost of $1,672.56. When we reviewed what was installed it was obvious they did not install that much wire. Earlier this year Danny came out to our house looking for the "extra" wire they did not use. I told him at that time the crew picked it all up. This would seem to indicate he knew there was no way they would have used that much wire. I knew we would be requesting bids for the next phase of the electrical work so I waited to see what Danny would do for the bid. When we requested a bid for the additional work I again pointed out there was no way they could have used 6000 ft of wire (there was also 500 ft of THHN-8-BLACK-STRANDED wire, 1000 ft of THHN-12-WHITE-STRANDED wire, and 500 ft of THHN-12-GREEN-STRANDED wire). He finally provided a credit of $500 in a quote on 6/10/26 for the material not used. On 7/2/26 I sent Danny an email requesting a refund of $1,393.80 for the THHN-10-BLACK-STRANDED wire that was not used. That calculation is based on the quoted cost of $1672.56 for 6000 ft of wire and generously allowing that the crew used 1000 ft (that is 1/6th the wire length and 1/6th of $1672.56 is $278.76) for a cost of $1393.80 ( 5/6th of what was quoted). This work was only for the install of 8 UFO ceiling lights, 3 outlets (within 50 ft of the breaker box), 4 switches, and the initial run of wiring to support the installation of metal clad wiring throughout the framing within the building. Note: I submitted an issue with the BBB but after 30 days there has been no reply from Reynolds that I have seen.
