They called me in advance to help me know what I needed to do to prepare and what to expect. The receptionist was friendly and very welcoming into the facility. She was able to give my husband directions to breakfast places near by where he could eat while I was having my tonsillectomy. She let us pick a show on Netflix to watch while we waited and made sure we were well taken care of in the reception area. When I was brought back into the prep room the nurse let me know they were behind schedule and it would be longer than we had anticipated. But she helped me become as comfortable as possible and answered all my questions. I talked to both my surgeon and my anesthesia doc for about 10 seconds before the surgery. Doctor Dahl was my surgeon and can I just tell you, he is the single best doctor I have ever had. Seriously! He told me all the options I had and helped me make decisions based on my personal needs/wants. He was cracking jokes and had me laughing all the time. He listened to my concerns and took care of me the best way he could. The anesthesia doctor was less outgoing, but still professional. He talked to me to distract me from the injection and told me what it was going to feel like and to try and focus on breathing. I felt a burning and then before I knew it I was out - quite painless. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the post surgery experience. I woke up from the surgery because I heard a loud bang, then began panicking because I couldn't breath and I was all alone. Next thing I hear is my doctor yelling "someone call the police" and all the nurses started running around behind the curtain. My crazy brain thought there was a shooter in the hospital and I needed to get out. I was strapped to the bed and couldn't get up or move at all. I was having a full on anxiety attack and couldn't talk or yell because my tonsils had just been removed. I started crying and thrashing around but luckily my husband came to check on me and jumped in to help. He tracked a nurse down for me and she was very kind and apologetic, she got me up and gave me some water. She informed me that being emotional was a common side effect of the anesthesia. I kept trying to get up to leave because of the "shooter" but it turns out it was just some guy that had gotten back into the surgery area posing as a doctor (they think he was trying to steal drugs). They couldn't get him to leave so they called the police. But I'm not going to lie, that was a scary experience for me since I was all doped up on pain Killers at the time. I don't remember much other than that after the surgery but other than the random guy breaking in, I had a good experience here and would recommend it for any adult who needs their tonsils out.

This has resulted in significant out-of-pocket costs for me because my insurance did not process it as medically necessary. For more than eight months, both my insurance company and I repeatedly contacted the doctor's office asking them to review the billing and correct the coding. Instead of receiving help or a resolution, I was repeatedly told the issue was being reviewed and would take additional time. After months of trying to get this resolved, the matter was ultimately sent to collections. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism throughout this entire process. I expected the office to take my concerns seriously and work with me to correct what I believe was an incorrect billing code. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this doctor or his office. The lack of communication and follow-through has caused me significant financial stress and frustration.

The Dr. Said "I don't know what the problem is, but we'll treat it, as if it were cellulitis." She also diagnosed him with an ear infection. I did not like the answer she gave us. So we went in this morning (Monday) to my son's regular pediatrician. We find out that he does have strep, and no cellulitis or ear infection. The prescription she wrote would not have resolved my son's issues and he would gave gotten more sick. I intend to get my 40$ copay back and plan to never go there again.

The dental staff was amazing with my toddler and so welcoming and not forceful or intimidating. They did amazing helping my toddler feel comfortable and were so gentle. Dr. Burt was awesome too and great with kids. He even made an animal balloon out of a glove which my child loved. We will definitely be coming back to this place for all our pediatric dentistry! So friendly, clean, and lots of fun toys. We've never left a dentist with so many prizes and toys before!
