We are not much of skiers so the mountains snow coaster is what really excited us and then they had a package to add-on the zip line so we decided to do both. the coaster itself was so much fun and we had a blast on it some of the time you felt like you were going to completely fly off the tracks but that's not what was going to happen. what I felt was the downfall was the zip line it was very short for the amount of money that was paid and to be very candid it felt very very unsafe. there's only one seat belt that holds you in the place there's nothing that goes over your shoulders or cross your chest And you are up 40-50 feet up in the air . I would love for them to do something where you could have multiple times writing the coaster to make it worth the drive if you are not a skier.

We had a great time, no wait on a weekday late afternoon. For people with physical challenges, please note that you will have to schlep your sled for a few minutes from the ski lift drop off to the start of the coaster. It's probably slightly higher priced than I would like it to be, but most people are on vacation and the ski lift right up is pretty as well.

You can choose between the slide or the coaster. I went for slides! The lady said it was more adventurous. It was really fun to ride the lift to go up the mountains. The guys who were working up there were super nice and kept complimenting my entire outfit. After getting off the lift, it was a bit of a walk to the slide location, especially with dragging the sled behind me. But once I got to go down the slides, it was super fun! The views were absolutely gorgeous, and I was lucky to come on a beautiful summer day to take in all the sights swooshing past me as I went down the slides. Definitely recommend this activity if you ever find yourself in Park City!

Can you say F U N!!! We had the most amazing time on the coaster and with all the snow around the scenery was perfect. Had our ears, nose and toes not have been freezing we would've stayed on this ride all day. Customer service from purchasing the tickets until we got off the ride was superior!

Can't go wrong with the Alpine Slides! The adrenaline of knowing that you may fall off for going to fast is what I live for! The ski lift on the way up is really slow but it's part of the experience! It's a great place for family!

We happened across this hidden gem while hiking areas around Salt Lake City. One thing to check before going is the weather! I suppose it's pretty important if you are going up the side of a mountain to come down on a metal framed cart lol. So needless to say we didn't check the weather bc we weren't planning on finding this place. We ran into some thunder and had to wait 30 mins before we could ride. Lucky for us this awesome little area had a few shops and restaurants to wait it out in. Now for the coaster, this was the first time I've been on a single rider coaster. I was pretty nervous but also excited. Each cart actually allows you to control the speed. When you're going up you don't want to adjust anything. Simply enjoy the views. On the spiraling loops making the way down the mountain, you can slow it down if the speed feels too fast. But after one round circle I was feeling much more confident. It was so fun! We all wanted to ride again but ran out of time. If you're in the area .... Check it out!

I love coasting lol. Great summer fun that is over priced, waiting in the longest line with the sun beating on you for a 80 second ride.. sure why not. We arrived about 11, just 1 hour after they opened, my impulse shopper decided on doing the all day pass. With short hours and long lines, we were only able to go on the coaster and slide twice each before they closed. The price wasn't really worth it for only being able to go twice on each ride. I do love that they had water stations throughout and for FREE. Also cool treats and food options which was nice and live entertainment. Regardless of the heat and prices, everyone should experience the mountain fun at least once, it is a lot of fun.

Do you like to have fun? Then come ride the coaster. You have met your match on Utah's largest Alpine Coaster. This track winds you through more than a mile of loops, curves and hair-pin curves at speeds up to 30 mph. What is even cooler is that you can see the refreshing mountain scenery of Park City. The ride up on ski lift is wonderful as well. The experience is fantastic and fun at the same time. Prices are different based off of height. Some kids can ride with an older person as well. Be patient as the line to get on the lift can be long and if they spot lightening they stop for 30 minutes for safety. Over all a great family activity.

4.5 STARS The roommate and I did one activity while at Park City Mountain Resort. That was, the Alpine Coaster. This happened on Wednesday, December 7th around 3:30pm. Since we are both 54" or taller, we were charged the Driver rate of $25 each, even though we shared a coaster car. (There's a Passenger rate of $10 for anyone 42"-53", but that basically applies to kids only due to the height requirement.) The roommate ended up driving and I held our GoPro while we rode the coaster. Luckily, we were the only ones on the track, so we were able to go the maximum speed! (I think the only time the roommate braked was at the end when we needed to stop.) Such a fun ride! I felt like we were going to fly off the track any time we turned! I had a blast. I believe the ride itself is around 8 mins total (including the time going up). I've read some reviews saying it's rather pricey, but I think it's worth it. (Although, the price did stop me from riding it more than once.) So. Much. Fun. I'm so glad we stopped by Park City Mountain Resort and rode the Alpine Coaster!

If you want a great lesson on inefficiency, every step of this process, from ticketing to the lifts is a master class.

A really great place. We had a blast. It's really nice that a ski resort town has fun alternatives for the summer.

This was my first season skiing, and my first time here I made the mistake of going up Gadzoom and Little Cloud chairs and got cliffed out in Little Cloud Bowl with all the black diamonds. I wasn't going to call ski patrol to take me down in the basket like my friend did at the top of Gadzoom after having a panic attack, and slowly, tediously made my way down. It was quite the adventure, looking back. I couldn't believe how long it took and how much distance and vertical drop I covered to get to the bottom; the runs here are some of the longest I've been on. One benefit of this resort over Alta is not needing parking reservations during weekends, which saved my ski day one Saturday I tried going to Alta without a parking reservation, then had to come here after talking to the parking attendant there putting $250 tickets on cars without reservations. The skiable area is massive here as well, and there's a whole other skiable side of the mountain (Mineral Basin) with breathtaking views you get to by taking this conveyer belt thing through a secret mining tunnel. The hoards of snowboarders do cause way more lines and congestion here than Alta, and I had to wait in line for a while for the tram on a Saturday. Luckily I soon found the secret tunnel I won't disclose the location of, and was able to ski at Mineral Basin with no lines the rest of that day. There's a lot more moguls and worse snow coverage here than Alta as well, though this year was an extreme outlier and the worst snow year in 4+ decades. It's a shame the Ikon pass only has 7 days to split between here and Alta, as I used up most of my days at Alta and didn't get a chance to explore all the different areas of this vast resort this season.

Little cottonwood canyon receives (objectively) the highest quality snow in the world (And a lot of it!). Some of the hardest, gnarliest terrain in the world is found across the entire resort. Some of my favorite adolescent memories reside here, and snowbird will always hold a special place in my heart. I could go on and on about the endless pros and minimal cons, but I believe every passionate skier deserves to experience the magic of the Wasatch mountains for themselves... With this being said, snowbird is NOT a family friendly or beginner mountain. There are an extremely low number of beginner/intermediate trails, and even these can get bumped up...

Brighton's so deep in the mountains, it was getting even more snow than Alta or Snowbird late season. Nonetheless, most of the skiable area was closed from late April on, and they had some really sticky slush near the bottom. I went here on the week of April 20th (the stoner holiday) not thinking anything of it, and have never seen such a high concentration of intoxicated, degenerate, drug-obsessed college kids and degenerate behavior. These kids were consuming alcohol on the runs, making fun of, laughing at and humiliating beginners, and couldn't stop chairlift blabbing about jumping people, buying alcohol underaged, and "whippets" or however you spell it, their apparent drug of choice. Having an Ikon Pass and going to Alta that same week, I wanted to find the explanatory factor for the extreme disparity in guests between here and Alta that particular week. I looked online and saw Brighton was selling day passes for only $49, and marketing their late season as an event, "The Meltdown", geared toward younger people looking to party. Most of the staff here were nice and professional, with one exception. This attractive blonde girl working here was rude and standoffish when I asked what time they close, as they kept changing the closing time, seemingly on a daily basis, and nobody seemed to know. Different websites said different times and their closing time varies by day of the week, time of the season, weather, even by lift or section of the mountain, so it was like a Scooby-Doo mystery trying to figure it out. Then to get an attitude like "What... what time do we close?! You're hitting on me?!! You can't think of a better pickup line than that?! You know how many pickup lines I hear a day??" Probably not the right person to be working in hospitality. On the upside, the night skiing and tree skiing were exceptional here when I went earlier in the season, and the girl I took said this was her favorite resort. When I tried taking her to Snowbird she had a panic attack, saying it was too steep, and had to have ski patrol take her down in the basket, so Brighton's probably more beginner friendly.
