The equipment is ideal for the area, with plenty off choices for more intense rides. The options for "trails" are urban for the local area, and north and south for the Wineries. We had a package deal that has a guide for the first day and on our own for the second day. Our guide, Taylor, was way cool. A local farmer/roadie/ San Fran local, with keen intel on the farming/bio-dynmic/ foodie/ family history. He clearly has a great history and relationship with the folks we stopped at and every bit was personable and flexible. He had an excellent read on the strength and weakness of the group. Overall, we did a gentle 20 miles on cushie bikes and drank a touch more wine then is good for willfully concurring the hills. We had a group of 6 and took a north loop that peaked at Quivira with the most spectacular bio-dynamic gardens. I mean bees, pigs, chickens and just the coolest raised beds I have ever seen. Seriously, I could happily retire and intern here. Our second day, was on our own on the southern route, me thinks just about 23 miles. My Aunt made it to Porter Creek (not on purpose) but I peaked at Thomas George Estate. We followed recommendations and lunched at Arista. Worthy!!! This is another heaven on Earth spot. It is not over rated. My only small complaint, on the second day (far beyond the control of the good folks at Wine County Bikes was the aggressive construction truck drivers. Mind you...there is a consistent "you're going to get hurt bad if you come off the road" with no clear bike lane. With that said the greater majority of cars, albeit fast, are very good about dealing with "tourist bike riders". Highly recommended!!!!!!

All of the equipment seemed well maintained and I had no issues with it throughout my tour. Joey was the tour guide for me and the six others in our group. Joey was knowledgeable about San Francisco and it's history as he provided numerous bits of information at each stop along our route. The views were great although we got a foggy day so never had a full view of the bridge. The weather was great and I was comfortable in a sweatshirt although the drive across the bridge was way colder than I expected! I felt that this tour is well worth the price and it was nice to have a stress free experience being guided throughout the city and across the bridge. Sausalito is also a very cute town with tons of dining options. When the tour ends, you are left to explore on your own and just have to get your bike back before closing time. I prepaid for a ferry ticket (Sausalito back to San Fran) when I booked my reservation. Unfortunately, they forgot to give me the voucher when I left for the tour so I had to purchase my own ticket on the ferry and obtained a refund upon my return. It was $8.25 to buy my ticket for the ferry (includes your bike) but they charged $18.00 online. I consider it a win. I am super glad I rented an e-bike because there is no way I would have made the tour on a pedal bike. It was a pretty long distance with a few big hills. I would say you have to be an avid biker to be able to pull it off although the employees insist people do it all the time.

First he make sure every one get training and feeling comfortable and safe to ride the Segway. Then he guided us for the 2 hours private tour. He is a great tour guide also the best photographer during the tour trip. He took all of the pictures and videos and send us all the pictures later without any additional charge. Highly recommended to anyone who want to explore San Francisco without walking. (Must wear a jacket and long pants due to heavy cold wind)

While I thought i would learn…read morea bit about the history of the region, these guys were absolutely full of local knowledge, random facts and info. on everyone and anyone who's ever filmed a movie scene, owned property, perished in the surf or walked the cliffs around Land's End. And I loved listening to their stories about what the area was like when they grew up in the neighborhood in the 60s and how its changed over the years. Greg is a wealth of travel knowledge of not only San Francisco, but the Bay Area and basically the entire world so it was great hear his thoughts about the next places on my bucket list. Ben is a long-time travel photographer which was a great resource during the walk as I fumbled around with a camera that is high in potential if you know what you're doing. The walk was a great mix of history, exercise and beauty...While not overly strenuous it felt good to be up and moving for a few hours, with a couple sections that required a little extra push. The Sutro Baths, sutros house and gardens and basically the views up and down the coast and of the golden gate bridge were breathtaking. As Greg mentioned at one point, we were in the most remote and wild part of San Francisco proper, a spot on the coast that could very well have been in Oregon, not a couple miles from downtown. I've been down to Land's End before but honestly, this walk took me to places I never knew existed. What makes this so worth it are the stories and history of the area,but not just the facts that you read about at the information center. These guys have been surfing here for 50 years, hiking the area before it was revamped by the city and it feels like they were probably riding the train out to the amusement park at the turn of the 20th century. They definitely made it for me and gave me a completely new perspective of this hidden little gem of beauty that only few people venture down to for views of the golden gate.

Dan started off with some basic worldly knowledge about coffee and then got into different roasting techniques, sharing a couple of his passionate stories about coffee along the way (very enthusiastic and knowledgeable). The part most special to me was actually roasting the coffee beans over the open flame. Putting the knowledge I just learned to the test was a very gratifying experience. I look forward to drinking my freshly roasted coffee with my partner at home.
