We have used Alpine Glass in the past and they were expensive, but delivered. 2 summers ago they replaced a large window that had broken from construction work. We paid them full price and it was guaranteed for a year. Last summer, the glass fogged up. I called to get it replaced, but they have yet to return my calls. I called Alpine early in morning with my window issue...and by early afternoon Wade was here and fixed what was a very unusual problem. The house that I rent is older and best described as interesting, but the price is great and the location is perfect. So when I realized that one of my old louvered bedroom windows was closed up because it was missing two of the panes I called Alpine Glass. The staff was super friendly and the women who took my order patiently explained my options. Probably a good thing since my requirements were, "Cheap, it's a rental and won't cut me when I install them." After placing my order she called me back to let me know that because of the holiday and some other jobs they had scheduled my glass wouldn't be ready until Monday. I was a little bummed, but I understood and more importantly I appreciated that she called. So needless to say I was super excited when I got a call the next day to let me know that was my glass was in fact ready. With 90-degree days approaching this was amazing news! When I arrived to pick up my order the staff was just as friendly in person and my glass was right there, ready to go, neatly wrapped up. If I have any gripes at all it's that the ordering system they use must bare some resemblance to an abacus because that went a hair slower than I might have expected. All told, I received excellent service and I'll finally be able to open BOTH windows in my weird old house. Bring on the crazy temperatures! And, when it's time order my glass dining table top I know exactly who I'll be buying from. read more

The service at Alpine Glass is worse than terrible. Ordered a shower door and partition October 5th 2021 and was told due to supply issues it would not be ready for 5-6 weeks. After not hearing for 8 weeks we started calling for updates. They really had no good reason and basically had a hard time finding my order each time I called. Bottom line as of January 12th, 13 weeks, still don't have a door or any confirmation as if it is or is not even ordered. No communication except we when called. Had to go somewhere else to get my door after 13 weeks. read more

We used Alpine Glass Company 7 years ago when we did a huge remodel. They installed two class showers in our home. The female sales/customer service person we dealt with in the store was unfriendly and somewhat rude. We were also shocked at the price when we were handed the bill. Both my husband and I were not impressed with the lack of communication regarding the cost and cold service. One of the glass shower doors hits the glass wall when it is opened and closed, which they have yet to acknowledge or fix. I called them yesterday to ask about replacing a couple of broken window seals. The same rude woman from 7 years ago answered the phone and treated me as if I were stupid when I didn't understand her questions regarding the windows and if we had tilted access to those windows. I absolutely will not use them to replace those broken window seals and will inform anyone who asks about residential glass not to use them. I love to support small, local businesses, especially in this economy, but It is hard to believe that a company like this can have such horrible customer service and still be in business! read more

I had a very large, arched one-piece picture window glass that needed replaced and also a sliding glass door panel. The appointment went as scheduled and on time. We had broken a large piece of glass that fit inside our patio table - seating 8. They were so helpful in getting this measured properly and although it was an expensive job still.... it was almost HALF of the other price I got from another local competitor. They did it perfectly, fit perfectly, helped us load it carefully and later when I thought something was wrong with it, they were right on it to help me.... of course it was my own fault and it was user error only. Very pleased. Now that we need more glass, I will be calling them! read more

Our large front main window of our home was broken due to the people removing icicles. We were supposed to have our window replace by alpine glass the same day and it has now been 3 and a half weeks and we are still without a window. As it has been freezing this winter in Bend our house has been freezing with the window missing. The first time Alpine came they threw our belongs on the floor, didn't put anything back, never replaced our window or contacted us. So we contacted them and they were ordering a window and were supposed to come replace it that following weekend. That weekend came and no window and alpine glass didn't contact us. So we called the again and they apparently rescheduled without notifying us and our window was supposed to be replaced the following week. Our heat down stairs also doesn't work so the same day alpine was supposed to come our heat was being replaced. They stated that they came and there was no key (even though the heating company was already in our house with a key) and they left without contacting us or notifying us. We left several voicemails asking them to please stay in contact with us so we know what to expect. We went out of town this weekend for a funeral and left the key so our window could be replaced while we were out. Someone entered our house and once again moved our belongs and opened the window and blinds they forgot to close and once again didn't replace our window and never contacted us. I have never been so frustrated or treated so unprofessionally by a business. I do no recommend alpine glass to anyone as they don't care about their customers and don't have enough respect to even contact them to set expectations. So unless you want to go a month without a window don't go through Alpine. read more
