The employee assisting me put on gloves, handled raw chicken, and then went directly to the fresh cheese to grab some for my order without changing gloves. Since the cheese was being used as a topping and would not be cooked, this creates a serious risk of cross-contamination. I hope the employees can be reminded of the importance of changing gloves between handling raw meat and ready-to-eat foods. I truly appreciate the small-business aspect and want to support them, but when it comes to food handling, safety has to come first.
