Lamb kabob plate and a chicken samosa
    Vu Davis N.

First time trying the food here. I came by myself so I couldn't order too much food. I got the lamb kabob and 1 chicken samosa. Both were very good and tasty! Good portion for the kabobs. The cooks were very friendly and I will be coming back to try more of their items!

A wonderful place to find halal meat. It's also a quick spot to enjoy delicious kabobs and Afghan Palow. Great customer service is a plus.

This was actually my 2nd stop of the trip. The first stop was in Fairfield at Lowes. Another solid stop. As I was driving to Pedrick I made a mental note to myself of what I could get that was useful. I wrote on my list onions as they are only 89 cents for the yellow ones and a great deal. Also on the list were their pork tamales for a quick lunch when I got back. As it turns out when I got home my husband thought the same thing and stopped at McDonalds and got me a fish sandwich so I wan't wanting for food when I got home. Good thing we now have tamales ($2.89 each) for dinner. That's one less meal I have to plan. Lastly the most tasty and pricy purchase was going to be fresh strawberries. I got 3 baskets for $9.99 or close to that. I had some when I got home and they are more tasty than the ones in the grocery store. Though they aren't as good as the ones at the woodland Strawberry festival. Maybe I'm buying them off season. I was here July 15, 2026 around 12:30pm. On my way out I noticed the half price items on the cart out front. Lots of items were 99 cents or half off. You're not sure of the regular price so I wasn't sure if it would still be a good deal or not as could we actually eat that much. I picked up a bag of 2 heads/stalks of broccoli and a bag of zucchini, maybe 7 in the bag. I first took my haul to the car before checking out again. As it turns out the Broccoli and Zucchini were under $2 together. What a deal. The Tamales have gotten better. They have a new supplier and now there is less masa and more filling. They started off good, then they went really went down hill fast. They were all masa and little filling. It was really bad and we stopped buying them. We I saw they were packaged differently I inquired if they had a new supplier and the said yes, someone more local, I forgot exactly where they said they were from. We gave these new tamales a try and were happily surprised. The price over the years has really gone up in price too. The bathrooms are a great relief. This is a perfect stop for us on our way to and from the bay. They have 2 plumbed bathrooms and 2 outhouses. I had to use the outhouse last time as we got there before they opened and they were still cleaning the bathrooms after they opened. It wasn't that bad. The cleaning truck was just pulling away when I used the port o potty so I wasn't the first user after they cleaned it. I am just thankful that they have bathrooms and you don't have to make a purchase to use them. Tortillas are the best here. They are locally made and we love them. So much better than ones they sell at Raley's. Even though they are homemade they still last a while without going moldy. We've never had them mold on us. With the great deals on produce, great tortillas, and the bathroom situation we will continue to make this our stop. Between the two of us we are here nearly every week so we are always well stocked in produce and tortillas.

FIND. HUMMUS HEAVEN…read more Okay wait, I'm toootalllyy getting ahead of myself, let me start over. So I stopped over at my friend's place a couple of days ago and she let me try the most AMAZING homemade hummus and I was ridiculously surprised when I heard that she got it from the Stockton Farmers' Market. I had gone to the one at the Stonecreek Village on the weekend and was EXTREMELY disappointed. But that's a completely different story. So I decided to check out the one at the Weberstown mall, hoping that it would be different. And boyyyy was it! And thank GOD it was! It's located right behind in the back parking lot of the Weberstown mall and the parking is super easy to get as it's right next to the huge cluster of tents in the UEI college parking lot. From ice cream to baked goods to olive oil and philly cheesesteaks and hotdogs, they have EVERYTHING here! I found Hummus Heaven almost instantly! There was some dude playing the fiddle passionately while singing right in front of his booth (really strange in my opinion). He had a huge variety of homemade hummus types from lemon, beet, to artichoke. Anyway, I want to go on and on about Hummus Heaven on here, but if you're still curious I've written a separate review for his yelp page. My favorite is their variety of delicious fruits. I went to the tent where it was $1.50/lb for a mix of fruits including white peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, etc. They were all sooooo ridiculously sweet and cheap at the same time! I paid $3.75 for 6 different fruits! And they give you a bunch of samples if you'd like. The people who work here are super friendly too. I'm really sad I didn't discover this place earlier because it's so awesome! They're here over the summer months from 8 am to 1 pm and it's not too crowded. Come get your veggies, fruits, ice cream, olive oil, whatever you want here! They have practically everything and it's great!

Seriously, summer farmers' markets are absolutely pnenomenal. Peaches, white peaches, plums, nectarines, white nectarines, blueberries, strawberries, cherries, oranges. Texas just doesn't do it like California. My method of finding the best white peaches is to walk around to every booth and try every sample. This is very important. The booth with the best peaches one day may not be the best the next day. VERY VERY IMPORTANT! Most days, their stone fruits will be mix n' match, $1.50/lb. You can't beat that. Hummus Heaven is a must. The guy who mans the booth hands you samples faster than you can put it in your mouth! I like the spicy black bean, cilantro avocado, and garlic. But honestly, everything is delicious. And if you're a hummus fiend, go buy yourself more than 3 tubs, because those delicious containers will not last long! Their lemon salted pita chips are also yummy! Farmers' market is cheaper and better tasting than Safeway and S-Mart. There's no excuse for not coming here! Plus, it's fun :)
