Every other employee in the office is kind and doing what they can to get by. However, MELINDAS callous demeanor and utter lack of professionalism make her a disgrace to the industry. Not only did Storage Sense Ithaca continue to charge my account after I closed my unit, but they also had the audacity to blame a terminated employee for their own shortcomings. Not only do they not tell you or inform or post outside how to properly close your account, but they also refuse to admit their own wrongdoing. SHE ALSO WILL NOT GIVE A NUMBER FOR CONTACTING ANYONE ELSE. Despite admitting fault, HERNANDEZ refuses to rectify the situation or displaying a stunning lack of empathy towards struggling college students like myself. Even laughing on the phone when I expressed that I would like to further escalate this matter to a supervisor. It's clear that customer satisfaction means nothing to Storage Sense, as they prioritize their bottom line over basic decency. In a world where customer service should be paramount, Storage Sense Ithaca and its manager, Melinda Hernandez, stand as shining examples of what not to do.
