Anthony came out to my 31' express (docked @private residence), and was the consummate professional (he also came highly recommended by locals)! I was not disappointed, he immediately found my engine issue (mercruiser 350 inboard).. with a blown H20 psi sensor (part is $200), but I paid $140 (his price)! ALP's mobile marine service to the rescue! I was having trouble getting my 1991 Bayliner started. Anthony had it running in no time. He adjusted the carburetor and engine timing. Anthony also at my request, checked the compression and inspected the whole engine. He made suggestions on how I could better maintain the engine. Anthony did a great job helping me sort out some issues on my Yamaha 2 stroke. Not many mechanics will touch a 2 stroke anymore so it was great that he was able to come out to my boat and work on it. He found some issues I wasn't even aware of that he was able to quickly handle and most likely save me some money down the line with more expensive replacements and repairs that I would have likely had to deal with if these issues were not fixed. It needed a few parts which he ran and got himself saving me the hassle of running out to get the parts myself. He worked quickly and had my motor running in a few hours, and also was kind enough to teach me a few things I could do myself in the future to ensure it runs as efficiently and effectively as possible. ALP's combines hoenesty and intergrity into his mobile marine service business. He was able to diagnose and repair our 97 Ocean Pro very quickly. He even figured out a charging problem that had stumped other repair guys, within moments, by asking a few questions. Anthony is an honest mechanic and even gave us some information that other mechanics would reserve for profit. Transparency is rare in todays business and we feel Anthony provided this along with knowledge to fix our outboard within the stated estimate. He was unable to provide a written estimate which was hard to swallow, especially in S Fl, but he stayed true to his word and delivered as stated.
