It's all about getting you in and out quickly and I'm okay with that! I've been patronizing CM for 5 years or more and I've never had an issue with any of the tires or service I received. I've bought new, used and had flats repaired here without a complaint. There is plenty of stock to choose from new and used! They have many wheels to choose from as well. There is a waiting room inside the building or benches on a covered porch to the entrance but trust me, you won't be here long enough to need a seat. Most mobile mechanics only work on semis. We were lucky to find Larry. The parts houses were closed, we ended up having the truck and trailer towed so Larry could work on it the next day. Since my husband would spend the night without access to food or water, Larry and his wife brought my husband some sandwiches and drinks. The next day he quickly repaired my husband's truck, he was back on the road and made his delivery on time. Larry is the one to call if you are in his area and need repairs done. His charges were reasonable, he did a great job quickly. He went above and beyond and we will never forget you. Thank you Larry.

Took 3 months to get my car, and when I got it it wasn't fixed. Had to take to a dealer to program the computer. The dealership said I had a small leak and Jim said to bring it by when I had a chance and he would look at it. I took it there and he said my warranty on his work was void due to me driving the car..he never told me to tow it there..this guy and everyone involved are shady crooks. The following day she said the mechanic was gone to the auto auction and they don't know. After three days she diagnosed it. They charged $50 and told me it was the transfer case. ordered the part they told me was malfunctioning. When I asked what part of the transfer case was malfunctioning. The owner said the whole thing needed to be replaced and that it was no specific part. I wasn't willing to pay them to do the work at $1900. It was not only out of my price range I didn't like the quality of customer service received. Long story short the transfer case was not the issue it was the rear drive shaft. I was able to return the part but the Matlocks kept a 25% restocking fee since the return was no fault to them since Statesville Transmission misdiagnosed the issue. Not only am I out of the $50 diagnostic fee, Matlocks kept $188 for restocking. I called today to inform him and the attitude isn't any better about the situation. He did offer my $50 back which I intend to go get, but what about the returned part or them keeping my vehicle for days with no true diagnosis, and then there's the trip to and from Matlocks for the part. I'm still waiting on the refund to hit my account. Inconvenient and mediocre at best. I will not return.

After 5 weeks of calling and trying to get updates. Every phone conversation was "sorry, no one is here to ask. Let me call you back." Never called back. Was told my transmission would have to be rebuilt and it would be $2100. I couldn't afford the repair at this time, so I told them I'd be picking it up. Called twice to confirm my truck would be ready to pick up. Neither phone conversation indicated I'd owe anything. Get there to pick up my truck and was handed bill for diagnosis. When asked about the fee I was told "sorry the owner isn't here, I'm just giving you what I got. We don't have to call for authorization under $250." Poor communication skills and not very transparent about cost. Free diagnosis is on the website by the way. Would absolutely be fine with paying a diag fee if it was told up front or was called during the process and told "if we do such testing there is a fee" and I authorized it.

Car handles better than it has in a year! When quoted originally, I was told that there could be more damage to the wheel bearing that would only be apparent once he began disassembling everything. Brent was honest when he discovered no additional damage. Between this honesty and the cost being less than the quote, I knew that these guys would get any future business I could give them. Being a single woman, I know I'm a target for being taken advantage of, and I can say that, beyond any shadow of any doubt, I was treated with respect and given nothing but the truth. And, the delicious icing on the cake is that my car drives and handles as well as it did the day I bought it. I'm an absolutely 100% happy customer!
