I had an appointment for an estimate today between 10:30 - 11:30am for a concrete project at my home in Indiana with Affordable Concrete raising. The experience was profoundly disappointing, extremely unprofessional, and left me questioning the company's respect for people of the black race. When the worker arrived at 11:50am, upon exiting his vehicle, he specifically walked onto my private driveway, looked directly at me--as I was standing in my garage walking towards him to greet him--and proceeded to spit onto my driveway which came across as spitting in my face. I was instantly disguised and offended by such a sickening act. He didn't introduce himself or offer a handshake. When I tried explaining this to a female manager, she became a mocker! Her goal was not to help or try to resolve this situation calming. Instead, she began to wordplay, asking did he speak about race, to defend his disgusting act. She went on intentionally disrespect me by claiming that my religious beliefs were opinions when the Bible says its truth. She was mocking my religion, saying don't throw rocks at a glass house, saying that's a scripture when its not. When she looked up the scripture she said, it says "he who is without sin." She goes on to harass me by bearing false witness lying on me continuing to say that she feels threatened b/c im black, proving she is prejudice also. I asked for a return call from a mgr above her & mockingly said she wld, meaning she's not going to just like she's not going to handle this complaint. He then briefly looked at the job and stated he couldn't do the work. The deliberate act of walking onto private property to spit rather than using the street, coupled with his confrontational demeanor while looking at me, felt deeply disrespectful and discriminatory, like he wanted me to know he didnt want to work with me. If I don't receive a call back by a owner/mgr this co agrees w/prejudice & disrespect. I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking respectful, professional service.

Like most people I went into this looking for a reputable company to do concrete work. I…read moreresearched, cross checked on different platforms for reviews. Called 3, chose M&M Concrete. Once I was able to get the permit, my contact Fabian, scheduled us to begin the next day. The removal of our old driveway, framing and grating took a full work day by a crew, led by Mark, that were there to work. I'm disabled and like to sit outside and was able to watch as professionals took care to build me a driveway that I too could be proud of, simply by It's commission. I say commission because after my city inspection, the true artistry began. I was able to watch as they plied their trade, working in harmonious rhythm almost hypnotically. . Even and slow, slowly working rock, grit, and water into position, waiting for the final face of the work. Skimming and cutting lines, floating a layer, that after a gentle brushing the final piece in its entirety reveals itself ,a masterpiece. The next morning I sat talking with the guys sent here to remove the framing and backfill. We talked about Soccer, their kids and their pride in their work. I told them they should be very proud because it was truly remarkable. They finished by giving me trade secrets on maintaining my artwork for as long as possible and ensuring as much debris, as possible, was removed from the site.and the street in front of our home. How can I alone determine a masterpiece you ask? I can't. But I can tell you. In the last days, I sit proudly on my front porch as neighbors greet me with "it's beautiful." I respond with "Thank you, I think so too." I know making a decision in today's economy where getting value for what you pay for can be difficult but if my testimony eases some of that stress, just remember this. After everything had been poured, edges and lines cut crisply, with a brush finish I watched a group of craftsmen stand at the end of our new driveway and look at their work with pride, with M&M Concrete that's the kind of customer satisfaction you can expect.

My driveway was in bad shape, the sealcoating done by another company had lasted only 3 years, my…read more'dips' were starting to erode thru the asphalt forcing me to add 2 layers of crack fill to stop the erosion. Shawn came to give me an estimate and recommended a double coating of sealant. The first coat he brushed on using a heavy mixture, later in the day when it was dry he sprayed a second layer on. The driveway is now heavily sealed and should be good for many years. The price was reasonable and he was prompt and courteous. I would recommend Sunny for sealcoating and/or repairing your driveway.
