Joey is the contractor for this business, me and my husband was hired to work for Joey and Hannah…read morewe worked for Joey for a week and after seeing how he runs his business and the shady work he does we started asking questions when we started asking questions he got rude and short with us, needless to say we quit on him and Joey or Hannah never paid us, we currently have reported them to the labor board and have a ongoing investigation. We have also found other ppl that worked for them before us that was never paid. These two have a habit of bringing ppl in to work with them for a couple of weeks and never paying them, even after jobs were finished and checks were collected. Joey brought us in on a cabinet job. He was not able to read blue prints of the job and started hanging the wrong cabinets, my husband caught him when he walked in and explained to him it was not meant for that way. We were able to recovery them and fix the job but Joey wanted to call the contractor manager and blame it on the guy before us. Joey lies about work, he's shady and the only skill he has is painting. We have a law suit pending against this company and I'm warning ppl that Joey and Hannah are crooks. They never take responsibility for there actions and blames all there mishaps on other ppl. They are not honest ppl, and there business is being investigated for working employees for cash and not paying them. Joey has other ppl doing the work then turns around and tells his project managers that he's done the work. He cheats on jobs and hides screw ups that shld be fixed. Beware of this company they shld be shut down so they don't steal your hard earn cash.

My wife and I just purchased a new house and felt it required a raised deck on the back of the house to create a great grilling and entertaining space. The home also required a few other repairs. We had 4 GC's come to the house to quote for the job as well as give input on what size deck would best fit the house. Of the four quote we decided to go with JJ construction, though the price was one of the higher quotes Jeff came across as the most knowledgeable, he explained the deck building process in detail with confidence. He was also extremely polite and well spoken - he was in-fact slightly late to the appointment but that was okay as he called ahead just to let us know we might be 15minutes late. We signed the contract a few days later. Jeff called a few times to arrange a time to do the work, told us his guys would be with us the next day to do the work at 8am. Sure enough next day 8am on the dot Brian and Noah arrived introduced them self's and got to work. They discovered some rot under the back door threshold asked if we wanted them to deal with it and of course we did. By the end of the first day the fame of the deck was completed. They told us they would be back tomorrow at 8am, in-fact they were slightly early the next day just got to it. We had to go out that day and we had no hesitation in leaving the house unlocked if either of them needed inside. When we returned in the evening the deck was finished they locked the house and were kind enough to carry my grill up to the deck. So we cooked out and had a great evening. Next day 8am Brian and Noah came back to deal with the other small jobs we had for them, gutter repair, roof vents for the bathroom and some masonry repair. We could have not been more impressed with the two of them. Both very well spoken polite and friendly. Turn up when they say they will and work hard. I had spoken with Jeff and said i was planing to pay in cash asked if i could give it to the guys he was happy for his guys take it. Couple of days later the guy from the permit office turned up, he was very impressed with the construction of the deck (its rock solid) Job was signed off and we could not be happier enjoying our outdoor space. If all GC's and their workers were as capable communicative and had the integrity as JJ Construction Jeff, Brian and Noah you would not need reviews. These guys are great and will use them again and recommend them to everyone in-fact our neighbor is going to have them do some work for her soon based on our experience.
