They had beers and premade cocktails at the beer window. Store - Clean. It was an organized store that was well kept. They workers can help you gather larger orders by the register while you shop. If I'm ever missing a last minute ingredient for a recipe, this is my first stop. They have such a great selection and I've come in looking for: 1) fresh fruits & veggies 2) variety of seltzer waters 3) spices including pepper, etc. 4) hummus (not sure where they source it from, but it was delicious) 5) stamps 6) hygiene & first aid 7) ice cream 8) organic milk. In addition to the above, they have bread from Lyon Bakery (my favorite bakery in DC), a wide selection of frozen foods, a decent selection of raw ingredients and snack foods. The other thing I love is that they allow dogs in the store & even have a jar of dog treats to share. I know this store might not look like much from the outside, but give it a chance & go in. This review is more about the coffee situation. I've been here a couple of times and I'm not sure why, but a few of the canisters of coffee that have been brewed are either lukewarm or cold. To add to this, it seems like they're putting the same coffee at all of the canisters regardless of what they're labeled. I tested this by pouring French vanilla into a cup, then hazelnut into another cup, and they both taste exactly the same with no flavor. I will say it is quite disappointing to get back out to your car and discover that what you thought you poured in your cup is not actually what it is. Also, some of the hot items looks like they've been there past the normal food safety. But it appears that the health rating has been passed.

Other than that, it is usually a quick stop, in and out, and you can go about your day. This also feels out of place a bit as it sits next to a high rise and is dwarfed by it. I am sure, once the roadwork is done, and the small road connecting to the park behind it reopens, this place is going to have an uptick of business. The store is a bit small on the inside, but what they offer is a nice mix of items you come to rely on having at a convenience store. Customer service depends on who might be working the counter at the time. Exiting the lot might take a minute as the exit sits at a traffic light. So you cannot just pull out of here.

Right adjacent is the garbage area which is filled with rats. They are crawling all over the ground in plain sight. There were 10-11 that came towards my car today and I felt compelled to move. I was frightened. The Prince Georges County local government should be ashamed. The health department must be notified immediately before someone or something bad happens.
