Wildly rude and unprofessional. I don't care if she's the best seamstress in the world, that type of behavior to customers is not acceptable. Had no idea she was appointment only (it's not posted online anywhere! How would I know? Just on the door of the store) and when I stopped by you would have thought I was committing a crime based on her reaction. The "advertising" should be ONLY referring to design from scratch. The Russian lady who owns it does not do any type of alterations - she is too advanced for that. Before you ho make sure you check her hours! They ate very particular! I had a very simple hem to be done on a very simple lightweight summer dress with no lining. If she didn't want to take something that small she should have said so, I understand she does mostly weddings. etc... She wasn't very friendly & completely rude on phone when I called to pick it up-very unprofessional. When I asked why so expensive for a simple hem which was $60 , she spent the whole time explaining why over and over again. I highly recommend this single proprietor, locally owned and operated shop. My recommendation is based on personal experience of asking Mila to significantly alter two pairs of men's trousers and one men's two-piece suit. Owing to weight-loss, the pants had to be re-cut as well as taken in at the waist and cuff. The suit coat had to be substantially altered as well. In a business-like fashion, Mila measured the items, calculated the cost and gave a completion date. The price was surprisingly reasonable and work was done on the date promised. I picked up the items, took them home, and tried them on immediately. They all fit perfectly and the work was impeccable. I was pleased to wear the suit at a business meeting the next week. With men's wear, clothing is right when it fits perfectly and naturally, is easy to wear, and conveys an impression without drawing attention. That's exactly what Mila's work accomplished.
