Went in to have a 20 year old tuxedo taken in. Went there for professional service. As you can see first I was charged $146 then when it didn't come out correctly they charged me another $40. Still had to go out and buy a new tuxedo as only after paying did they tell me because the pants had pleats they could not make it look right. And they were nasty when I asked why they couldn't tell me that beforehand. Super expensive and very unappreciative. They only want the money. Be careful read more

I would not recommend getting your wedding dress tailored here. First, they hemmed it too short and the hem was not even all the way around. They were able to lengthen it but still not to the desired length and it is still uneven. I got a second opinion, and, when looking over the dress, they found they left a pin in the breast cup that they had put in, the bustle is uneven and not correct length, and the inner layers are all the wrongs lengths. Might be fine for other clothing items but definitely would go elsewhere for wedding gowns. read more

I brought in two bridesmaid dresses from BHLDN because I couldn't decide which dress to wear. It was essentially going to come down to alterations. I had to wait in the lobby for about 10 minutes before being helped but there were several people in there before me (which I took as a good sign and didn't mind waiting). I tried on both dresses, I was given an honest professional opinion (with an outside view based solely on material and how alterations would go) and a decision was made within minutes. I left the dress to be brought it. I came back after I knew what shoes I was wearing and the hem line was adjusted. Got 2 custom suits online with 2 extra pairs of trousers for each suit. The brand is well known and highly regarded however the size was slightly tight around the waist and chest. I went here on Tuesday and ask if they could do all the alterations by Friday. Lo and behold by THURSDAY, they had finished all the alterations (including hemming). Best tailor in Milford! I brought in a silk tank blouse with a ruffle that went from shoulder to shoulder to have it altered (I needed each shoulder shortened by around an inch). I went to Casablanca last year and i adored her work. she took in a couple shirts and a vest for me for my uniform and they fit me perfect. this year however I wont go back to her again. I brought her two shirts and two pants to take in and alter for me. she charged me 250 (which i payed in advance) for all the pieces and when i went to pick them up and tried them on, it was like nothing was done. the pants were shorten but other then that i saw no difference in the fit or anything. everything is huge on me still. i was annoyed so i just told her it was fine and i'm taking my clothes to another place to get them fixed. read more
