She was recommended to me by a boutique all the way in Atlanta, so her work is widely known for its excellence. She was kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout the alteration process, and she met with me several times to make sure everything was perfect. I brought a wedding dress that I loved but when it came in my size it just didn't fit right. The store I purchased the dress from didn't want to do the alterations I wanted on the dress to feel comfortable. I brought it to Michelle and she said she would do whatever I wanted to feel most comfortable. Through several fitting she made the dress the PERFECT fit! I also brought her a second gown that I wanted turned into a short party dress. She did an amazing job transforming this dress as well. Her rates were very reasonable given all of the time and work she put into my dresses. She did such an amazing job and was such a wonderful person to work with. Michelle is incredibly talented!! She altered my wedding dress, which was multiple sizes too big and had lots and lots of layers, into the most amazing dress that fits perfectly to my body. I would give 100 stars if I could! If you are looking for a seamstress for ANY alteration, look no further! Especially complex wedding gown alterations. I have never experienced such fantastic customer service, and exceptional quality work in my life. Here is a little story that might highlight for you how amazing Michelle is: I went through 3-4 fittings with a seamstress I was friendly with, but she kept insisting I needed to wear a regular bra with straps for my expensive, nude color mesh +lace wedding gown. I picked it up Sunday night (6 days before the wedding), tried it on at home with a full length mirror, and as I moved around I realized the top did not fit at all. It was falling off, the area for the boobs was hanging, things were in strange places. I sent a picture to my sister and friend and they agreed it was not wear-able. When I contacted my seamstress she said she didn't know what she could do, aside from taking the whole thing apart, but there wasn't time for that. I didn't sleep all night and started making phone calls at 7 am to find a new seamstress. Keep in mind the dress is a sheer mesh, crepe fabric, and then covered in very tightly sewed on lace appliques. There is no "easy fix". By 8 am Michelle called me back, had me send her pictures of the issue and although she was swamped with other clients alterations, said she would fit me in at 8:30 for a consultation. I arrived, got into the dress, and she immediately pointed out the areas that required work, pulled out the bra cups the previous seamstress put in the wrong place, threw new ones in there, and pinned it up to fix everything. It was like a whole new dress. I literally almost cried. This is Monday. I came back Wednesday afternoon for a second fitting and it was almost done. She knit-picked and fussed over the tiniest details I would not have even noticed. Made sure it was perfect, and I will have my dress by Friday (tomorrow) at 12 pm. Talk about service. Aside from this, Michelle made sure I calmed down and understood that everything would be okay. She kept in contact via text everyday and I know spent hours on this dress. Needless to say, I finally slept last night and was able to focus on all the other details of the wedding. I know the dress is going to be PERFECT. Oh, to top it off her price was nothing compared to my original failing alterations. I could not believe it. Give Michelle a call and I'm sure she'd be happy to help you with any of your alteration needs. Also turns out she did wedding dresses, prom dresses, and mother of the bride dresses for half the people who work in my office. They even had her business card in their wallet and pulled it out as I was going on and on about this new seamstress named Michelle I had found :) I'll post my dress before and after photos after the wedding this weekend so you can see her amazing work. read more

Michelle is all around amazing. Her talent is remarkable- she transformed my delicate mesh and lace wedding gown into exactly what I envisioned. She never rushes you, she pays attention to details, never makes you feel like your requests are crazy, and she doesnt stop making adjustments until you are both satisfied. She makes you feel at ease, as if you are hanging out with a friend. She plays good music too! I was sad to say goodbye to her at my final fitting. I recommend her whole heartedly and would use her over and over again.
