Sharon is absolutely the best for all your sewing needs! I had just moved to the area and we're…read morestill in the process of trying to unpack, but I had an upcoming trip to go out of town and still couldn't find some of my clothes in the mounds of boxes we had from moving. It was easier for me to buy a pair of jeans a line, and get them the next day. However, I always need alterations done to my jeans. I found her information here on yelp, gave her a call and she said come right on over! She is so sweet and nice and made me feel very comfortable working with her. She perfectly altered my jeans and I was happy. The turnaround time was only a couple days, which was great for my upcoming vacation. I also had a vintage windbreaker jacket that I bought online. The jacket was in great shape, but the wrist portion of the jacket was a bit stretched out. It's an uncomfortable feeling for me when I wear a jacket that's too long, and that was the case because of these stretched out wrist, making the jacket go past my fingers. I showed her my concern, and she said she would take care of it. She was able to tighten up that part of the jacket and now my hands are missing in action when I wear it! Her prices are very reasonable. A lot less than places I've been in the past. Would 100% recommend her and I will be back to her for all of my alteration needs.

I still had another garment with them and when i went to pick it up i just didn't have the damaged garment with me. I never refused, he's lying. I said i needed to understand the process and what they would do (I'm nervous about it getting further damage) but he kept repeating that i refused to bring it back which never was the case. When i spoke to him he referred to using other chemicals to determine the cause of the issue and I'm not necessarily keen on them doing stuff i don't understand at this point. He wanted to overtalk me and not listen. Thats why i don't feel comfortable anymore. Why wouldn't i bring it back if that's how i get made whole? He's not making sense. I feel completely let down by these guys after using them exclusively for at least 4 years. They didn't call me back for 2 weeks after damaging a very expensive garment, insinuated that I'm making it up, and accused me of refusing to bring it back. I would've had no problem doing so had i understood the process/remedy but i don't really want them messing up my stuff even more. When talking to Brett about my apprehensions , he was very dismissive and unprofessional. He even stopped listening and it turned into a confrontation bc he would laugh at me while I'm talking as if my situation is funny. I don't feel comfortable working with him/them anymore. Since he said he doesn't care about my review, here it is.

I took 2 suit jackets here for tailoring. $90 for hemming the sleeves of 2 suits. Not a bad price,…read morenot budget either. Very middle of the road. The work was fine, and came out exactly as promised. I wouldn't say they were the most helpful in finding me the perfect fit, but when I explicitly said what I wanted done they did it. They also finished pretty quickly, under 1 week, and were kind and respectful. I'll definitely be back for things like hemming my pants and sleeves.

I worked with an older man that is not the lady that I've usually consulted with. He was immediately combative. He pinned the pants where he wanted and refused to change it. I expressed where I wanted it and I wanted a taper leg ( the pants were straight) . He said he understood what I wanted and I paid. Upon picking up the paints and seeing they didn't look right I asked to try them on and it looked like he took an inch or 2 off the hem and sewed it up. The pants are curved and have no appearance of being taper. You couldn't see a leg in the pants if there were 2 pairs. When telling him what I wanted he said "I must not be right in the head and he couldn't do anything more' . The only additional response I could receive is " people paper clip there pants to make them look like that". What?!? Complete waste of 30 bucks and 5days. Now I have a business trip in 2 days with botched pants. Be cognizant of who you consult with. I will never be returning.

They're all patient, skilled, and genuinely kind. I go in fairly often for tailoring and repairs, and they are always welcoming and willing to listen carefully while I figure out exactly what I want done. Today really stood out. I brought back a pair of pants that had been hemmed and looked great, but just didn't feel comfortable when I wore them. I was worried I was asking too much since I'd already been in a few times about these pants, but Ping couldn't have been more understanding. She insisted on letting them back out while I was there, even though it was near closing time. She also noticed a jacket I had and tightened the buttons on that too--again, on the spot. She was so kind, accommodating, and generous with her time, and she wouldn't even let me pay. That level of care and customer service is rare. Ping truly stands behind her work and wants her customers to be comfortable and happy. If you're looking for expert tailoring with exceptional service, Lee's Tailors is the place. I won't go anywhere else.
