Had a small hiccup on a repair job, that was handled very professionally. Received calls from the owner and sales manager to correct any issue and to make certain that everything was to my satisfaction. Oftentimes we measure a business on how their day to day operations work. In actuality, the true test of customer service is how they react when there is an issue, which happen no matter what the industry. My personal opinion is that this is a solid business which has ownership who truly value the customer and customer experience. Recommend highly. read more

I am getting married next week Wednesday the 23rd but I think because of the weather it may be postponed to the following week. Prior to that my fiance and I were shopping for wedding rings and couldn't find anything.. We searched all over looking with no luck. We went to a couple of jewelry stores In Lake Charles La and found nothing. Selection was very limited. Finally we decided to look at a few Jewlery stores in Beaumont Tx. We went to Charles S Nacol and I found a beautiful ring, but owner was a Douche. Rude as hell. I also found a beautiful wedding set Sam's Club in Beaumont Tx, but the diamond quality was very poor, and i had to insure it through a third party company. I didn't like that. So we finally decided to go Alters Gem Jewelry. My fiance has a classmate that works there Dana David, so we finally decided to go there and look around at what they had to offer. Once we arrived Dana came right over to assist us and asked exactly what were we looking for. I knew exactly what style of ring was I wanted so I showed her a picture. I wanted or something close to that. At least two carats or maybe a little more. We began looking at rings but it took a while for me to find the exact style that I wanted, but Dana was awesome she put together the perfect set for me. The designer is Scott K and the engagement ring is absolutely breathtaking. She also took the time to match the perfect wedding band with the ring and it looked like the set came together. It is absolutely beautiful. My ring also had to be resized to a size 7 and she also took care of that. I went in on Thursday September 17 to pay and tell her that's the one that we wanted. Even with the resizing my ring was ready for pick up on Saturday September 19th. It is absolutely breathtaking. The service was absolutely amazing. I would recommend Alters Gem Jewelers to everyone. When you get there ask for Dana David. She's the best. read more

Walked in this morning just browsing watches. Was greeted very kindly by Michelle and offered a beverage. We spoke about watches for about 15-20 minutes. She was very professional and knowledgeable. I went to sell a ring after my divorce and the guy that looked at my rings was very rude, i understand somethings a jewelry store will not buy but instead of saying im not interested and shoving the ring back in my hand he could have handled himself a little more professionally.
