He said he couldn't make any promises to me and explained what work it needed but that he would do his best. He called me a week later, which is a long time for Chris and when I looked at the watch I cried again. It looked so good all clean and polished and working. He said he didn't know how long it would work but he did his best. It was still working months later when I gave it to my son and I wish Chris could have seen his face. He gave us what money couldn't buy, he gave us a little piece of my Fred that my son can touch and for that we are eternally grateful.
