I really got the best bang for my buck and is a true all inclusive experience that I will never forget. The owners here are also very friendly and their mission about starting this place years ago shows their dedication to the hospitality market. This place is clean and it feels like I'm staying at a four-star hotel. They do have a lot of terms and conditions when it comes to booking so be aware before booking please don't make any changes. The lobby itself is beautiful , the rooms itself are incredible. They have a beautiful balcony if you stay in the main part of the hotel. The outdoor area is also really good and has great views. you even have a bonfire. The guests here are really down to earth and friendly. This place hosts weddings and other Gatherings as well. Since there wasn't a lot of guests here, I really wish there was an opportunity to actually have the bar open during our visit. The Innkeeper also does a great job taking care of the hotel. Even though it's a bit far even though it's a bit far from a grocery store I recommend buying your stuff in advance. If you're making your way to the winery Trail or to the hiking trails you're in the absolute heart of it all and that's why this whole house and the prime location that it is! Highly recommend staying here . You will not regret your stay

Rhea and Tony (the owners) didn't miss a thing! On their 125+ acre of property there are 2 rooms that rent (not attached to the house) for anywhere between $65-85 a night (I believe) and there is a log cabin suite for $130.00 per night which is what we choose. What an amazing place, so romantic, it is so beautiful! They have a private entrance to the log cabin that you walk through grape vines with beautiful flowers and hummingbirds all around. Our cabin had its own private Jacuzzi, fireplace, grill, king bed and wrap around deck. The also have a hot tub outside for all to use. She had the whole room stocked with everything you possibly needed during your stay important to remember the chocolates too! We were joined to the house by a breeze way but you never heard a sound except for the occasional bark from Daisy the new puppy! Rhea made us "Continental" breakfast every morning and it was out-of-this-world! The first day she made us strawberries and pancakes. The second day was an amazing egg souffle with peaches and blueberries and the final morning we had cherries and waffles. I was hoping she would slip me some of the recipes! Their property has many walking trails and one lead to a cave that Daniel Boone etched his name in the wall. Now, did I climb up to see, heck no! The other paths lead to 3 ponds stocked with fish and one had a row boat you guys could get out on and fish, made my husband's day! I highly recommend, if anyone is heading to Southern Illinois for outdoor fun or to hit the wine trail, consider this B&B, its the best I have ever stayed in and plan to go back!

We were blessed to be on location for the 2017 great American eclipse where we had front row seating on top of our roof within a football field of the point of maximum totality. It was awesome! That being said, the cabins are rich in detail and comfort fit for the best of hobbits. It's hard to express how wonderful our visit was and how highly we recommend it so I created this poem. ODE to the Rocky Comfort Cabins 2017 Great American Eclipse We came from the north To this hobbit house Where we stayed half a week As snug as a mouse The home was so cozy And neat as a pin And we wondered in awe At what lay within Round windows galore Not to mention the door Adorned this cute cottage With a grand tiled floor The fireplace beckoned But the weather was hot So we agreed at this time Not to give it a shot The hot tub amazed us Such powerful jets Worked magical wonders On sore backs and necks Surrounded by nature And flowers pink and blue Hummingbirds fluttered And butterflies too A walk through the woods Past some spiders and skinks Soon led to a vineyard With multiple drinks With thanks to our hosts Nancy and Ed We slept very well In the comfortable bed The shuttle arrived It drove round the bend To follow the wine trail Beginning to end Another night passed And the great day arrived When we would see wonders Adorning the sky The pilgrims they gathered Not far from the Cove To see with their eyes These strange mysteries unfold What loud oohs and ahhs Filled our ears on that day As a perfect eclipse Began on its way The sun disappeared And it got very cool While it seemed pretty weird It was No April's Fool We were all glad we came To this place in the Hollow And agreed one more trip May just have to follow In 2 - 0 - 2 - 4 May we come back for more To stay in a cottage With a round happy door!!

We planed to make this our hotel of choice when we visited family. This time we had a problem. We got here at 1:30 pm and called to see if a room would be ready early. We were told that no rooms would be ready until 3 pm check in time. We understood and visited with family while we waited. We got to the hotel at 3:15 pm and my husband went in to get the rooms. He was waited on by Jayci. She told him that they just checked in a baseball team and there were no other rooms ready. When he asked when would they be ready, she told him she didn't know, and picked up the phone that was ringing. He came out to the car and told me. I immediately went back into the hotel because that was unacceptable. I was greeted by Jeff because Jayci was still on a call. I told him what my husband said and he asked me to wait while he finished with someone and then helped us. The rooms were still very clean and the breakfast and coffee are good. We are asking for someone to do something about one employee please.

There were a few minor issues with the room that didn't impact our stay (the bathroom door didn't lock and the vent didn't seem to turn on?). Hot breakfast had a good selection: pancake machine, those little mini omlette, bacon and sausage, biscuits and gravy (along with the pastries and other cold breakfast items). They have coffee available 24/7, and it's actually pretty good coffee. The pool was really nice too. It's conveniently located but not so close to the main road you can hear cars at night.
