They trust him when he says he's done what he said he would do, and that the quality is first rate. We trusted Chase, too, right to the very end. What we learned, though, is that he's an exceptionally good liar. He lied about pretty much everything - even the things he put in writing. For example, his contract with us specifies that he would use brushes, not just sprayers (this was an exterior painting project). Not only did he not use brushes, he had no intention of telling us. His crew chief exposed the depth of this lie when he told us that they never had any intention of brushing our house. He said that in his 10 or so years painting, a house like ours would never be brushed. There were other lies, too, like the one where he said they'd use two coats of paint (they used one). But the biggest lie was the last one, when he told us he would do whatever was necessary to make us happy, and that we had a two-year guarantee. He told us this the day we handed him the final payment in full. He didn't come back when he said he would to fix the things we found initially and reviewed with him, and he's not returning our calls. This was weeks ago. As the real Chase has been revealed, we've looked more closely at his work, and discovered that they did a terrible job of prep. There's peeling paint in countless places. I have photos if you'd like to see them. I've had a few painters inspect their workmanship and I think it's fair to say they're appalled. We've hired one of these painters and will pay him thousands to fix the problems that Chase created. I want you to know it gives me no joy to write this review. We'd much rather pay to have the house correctly prepped and painted and move on. But we think it would be irresponsible to not share our experience with you.

Quote was reasonable; comparable to the last company we used about 2-3 years ago. The windows definitely needed cleaning! He also worked with me on a scheduling request. Windows looked great, super clear, and he took the necessary time to ensure each was cleaned as well as screens and storms; sills were also wiped out. I got a few quotes from him on some possible paint jobs and crown molding since Chase also provides that. (He said he guarantees his work for two years.) Extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly guy who seems dedicated to a work ethic of excellence.

Set appointment for last week...no show…read more Sketchy guy shows up this afternoon unannounced all fidgety, no business card, company shirt, brochure or signage/identification and brushes off the question I asked about why they didn't show for the appointment. He said "We had some late orders come in..." What does that even mean? I asked why I should expect him to show up on time to do the work properly if he got the job? He had a blank look and no answer. I told him to get lost...he didn't try to save the situation and quickly took off in a beat up old maroon truck. The guy seemed to be nervous about something...very uncomfortable.

Now onto the the actual work. I contacted them months ago for some estimates and Jim/Virgil was great to work with. He came out as requested and gave fair estimates for both drywall work, replacement stairs, and ceiling work. He even came out a second time to give an estimate for some replacement siding. The drywall crew consisted of two guys who spent a few days working on a small section in the basement, they made sure to make things look their best and did a decent job cleaning up each night. They were polite and always listening to my feedback. 5 stars there. The siding guy came out and replacement some cedar shakes on the side of the house that were missing from an old deck removal. He did a great job and cleaned up the worksite very nice. I was impressed with the speed. Again 5 stars. Jim himself came out for the ceiling work, he did a great job hooking up the electric and making sure the panels lined up to the existing grid. Again 5 stars. My only gripe was the billing, Their online system worked, but I think some deposits I made were just lost. Regardless they eventually took care of it... so updating my review to reflect this. Thank you, I for sure recommend them for contracting work, just double check the bills before paying. =)

A laundry & shelving put in a adjoining bedroom. All of this was done while we were snowbirds and not home. My neighbors tell me there were workmen there everyday. The work was beautiful! Everything was picked up, and the work was done on time. There were no hidden charges in the final bill. Owner was always in contact I would not hesitate to hire this company again!

Throughout the process we had excellent daily communication with Gaetan, the field manager, and Bill, project manager. The quality of the design, materials, and workmanship was superb. The building site was kept clean and safe. Bill and/or Gaetan visited the site on a daily basis to supervise the project. Joe, one of the carpenters, saw an opportunity to improve the design and discussed it with us, Gaetan, and Bill. We all agreed with the changes and they were implemented.
