Out of all the places I called, this was the only shop that called me back right away and said they could look at it immediately and would even stay open past closing to help--which they did. I had my car towed over, and from the moment I got there, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Israel, the owner, took a look at my car right away! He replaced several parts for a fair price, kept us in the loop the whole time, and quickly figured out what was going on. I ultimately decided to get my car towed back to Houston. He let me keep the car there for a couple of days while I arranged a tow, held onto the keys, and personally gave them to the tow truck driver and sent us photos/updates when they arrived. Israel went above and beyond. He was seriously amazing--so kind, understanding, and genuinely helpful and knowledgeable when I needed it most. They also sent a Lyft out to pick me up free of charge. Unfortunately, the repairs were done very poorly. $600 later and my brakes were no better than they were coming in, and when they replaced the drive belt, they broke the tensioner. They also kept my car for 4 days, so all in all, it was a huge waste of time and money for me. When I got the car back to Los Angeles, I took it to my regular mechanic, who fixed the brakes in one afternoon for half the price. He advised me not to go back to Bengal when I'm in Dallas, so I'm just passing that on to potential new customers. Finding an honest mechanic is tough, but this place is no better than the usual rip-off.
