Just a little update. I got my home pumped today from a-1 septic. They did an excellent job. My house was pumped 970 gallons and it was full. They were transparent. They showed me their gage that they pumped. It's a shame on Alvarado pumping company to charge me for 2000 gallons. We needed our septic tank pumped. I called Alvarado Pumping and he was able to come out 2 days later. Today was the day, we didn't know where the septic tank cap was, but Alvarado Pumping had the tools to find it. Cap found, opened and pumped the septic tank for a more than reasonable price. I recommend this business and will definitely use them again when the time comes to empty the septic tank again. read more

My septic tank needed to be drained. I called them in the afternoon and they were able to come out the next day. The tech called as he was on his way and arrived within the 2 hour window. It was time to have my septic tank pumped so I called a couple of different companies to get a quote on prices. Alvarado pumping was able to set a time to come out the next day. The other company I called wanted me to be home all day because they weren't sure what time they would be able to show up. I had Alvarado pumping pump both sides of my septic tank and when they were through I used a long pole, to make sure that they did pump all the sewage out. This is a follow up to my earlier review. Angel came back after we were able to cut away asphalt to access the lid of the septic tank. It was an old (1964) installation, so of course it was a bit of a struggle to remove the lid. He was determined to remove the lid without breaking it. He was successful. Our tank was pumped and Angel assured us our tank was in good working order. His final charges were exactly what he said they would be. Such a great guy--professional and efficient!! Great to find a company who shows up for appointment and completes the work professionally. Andrew was a nice young man who knew exactly what he was doing. He found the septic tank and determined where the lid might be and started digging. He hit the tank lid dead center and pumped the tank. Then filled in the hole and replaced the grass just as he dug it out! WOW what a professional ! He answered my questions professionally and stayed on task.
