This review specifically pertains to the companies driving. Today on hwy 99, a driver tailgated my sister when she was trying to get onto the 120 highway. He sped around her to cut her off and nearly ran her off the road. It was unprovoked and extremely unprofessional. Crazy drivers who operate heavy-duty vehicles should not be allowed on the road. Your reckless driving is the reason for so many accidents and traffic. Stop! Just stop acting like you own the road and remember that other people want to make it home safely and in one piece. And for the company, do better at vetting your drivers. Perhaps it's time to start some OSHA training. read more

FANTASTIC! I contacted Michael after N&S Irrigation in Ripon recommended him. Super nice on the phone. About a week later got a call from Ryan as he was headed out to check things out. Came out -- no fuss, no muss and just like talking to an old, practical friend. He was the first person who finally had a solid plan. When it came time for the work to be done - it was done perfectly and Ryan was just terrific to work with. If you have any work to be done that is within their wheel house of skills -- hire these guys if you want the job done right, efficiently and someone who has old fashion values and cares about how a job is done. Communication was easy and they were always responsive to my questions both before and during the job, and given Ryan's character I expect the same will be in the future. I don't mention Michael's simply because I didn't meet him and our contact was minimal, but it was all positive. These guys -- JUST GREAT! These days it's just so hard to find anyone who knows their job and is polite and thorough, so I feel like the luckiest person. read more

Staff are incredibly kind and they are very prompt. They had to order a new aerator for my septic tank, but they were able to get it shipped and installed. As this was under home warranty, I appreciated the professionalism and promptness of the office staff, while providing me an estimate and the paid invoice. They are also familiar with working with warranty companies and provide guidance, so there wasn't too much back-and-forth. read more

We had some problems with the leach lines for the septic system at the farmhouse. I contacted Michael from Mountain Valley Pumping, he came next day to see the problems we were having and gave us couple of options with the pricing and time frame for the project to replace leach lines and do a new drain system. Got two quotes by email within minutes, showing in detail all the fees for this bill. We schedule an appointment for the job to get done. The day came for the project and the next thing I saw from my kitchen window with my morning coffee, is some trucks pulling an excavator, a skit steer and some pipes and tools, everything went smooth, I had the chance to met Jeff and his crew and also Michael came to see and help as well. Great Job, on time and very professional. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company to anyone who has issues with their septic system, or wants to install a septic system. We contacted Mountain Valley Pumping to pump our tank AND to check and clean the filter that protects the septic field. I dug the hole for access to the tank sump but didn't know where the access to the filter was. We agreed to pay Mountain Valley $150.00 to dig access. The last time the filter was checked 2 pumping's before, the guy had a water wand, found and dug access in less than 15 minutes. A young man shows up and can't find access to the filter. So "We" (I'm 73 with a heart condition) both get in the hole and dig. We stop once in a while and he explains why the filter doesn't need checking, and I say will he be here at 3 in the morning when the system backs up? Then he tells me (twice) I need to get an EXCAVTOR (to dig access to a tank), then comes the ultimatum, he had other places to go and he either pumps the one chamber, or he will leave..., and he left. I got Applegate to come out to find the access and he found in in less time it took me to write this sentence, we were about a foot away. Mountain Valley Pumping never contacted me since. Today I had AAA septic come out, and the chamber that Mountain/Valley would have left untouched was by far the one in the worst condition, we had to add water to thin it out so it would pump, and the filter was completely clogged. If I had followed Mountain Valley's advice it would have been a disaster. Don't believe me, call Cameron at AAA, as for me I cannot recommend Mountain Valley Pumping. read more

Kyle, the technician was courteous and and efficient. He was asked to check my septic because the previous company said it was not possible to pump it until I had a plumber snake the plumbing, a specialist check the leech field and remove a portion of the side of the house. Kyle inspected the area, got right to work and completed the job in less than an hour. No extra charges and no specialists needed. I highly recommend Mountain Valley for their honesty and integrity. This company is terrible at communications and keeping their commitments. We had our septic pumped a year ago and they agreed to patching the hole in our drive way. They never fixed the hole. We called them at least ten times and each time Kelsie committed to get us an answer and never called back. When I called her just now she wasn't concerned at all about the lack of customer satisfaction, their lack of service, and her lack of calling people back. Once they get your money, you are just another schmuck that they don't give a damn about. read more
