This shot glass looks s so thin, one washing and it broke

I purchased the below items 1/30/25, wrote to Alvin's customer service 2/10/25 after returning from vacation. Will not refund because of the 7 day return policy, no exceptions. Will not consider return time from vacation

Rude agent. Racist and prefer to only help white customers.

This store seems enticing because it looks like a discount souvenir shop compared to the rest of the store on the same area. Well the prices are not cheap, the merchandise is cheap and people are rude, discriminatory to be more specific. There were 2 check out girls on separate cashiers and one was not helping anyone. We stood by her check out counter because my 7 year old daughter was still picking her toy. She waited for us to put down all the merchandise we were checking out and then tells us she cannot help us because we were "not in the right line". We were confused because she called another customer that was literally about to get helped by the other Cashier and there was no one else behind her imaginary line but us. It made sense to help us but she would not do it. So we still obliged and went to the other girl. The people who work here make their customers feel like they are better than the non-white customers that come in their store. I guess they believe they are not minorities when their primarily language is obviously not English. What got me upset is after paying at the other cashier, we looked up there were a line of 7 people who were in line by the rude clerk. She didn't make an attempt to correct any of them that they are in the wrong line like we were. She happily assisted all of them. I was fuming mad to say the least. But at the end of the day, i know I'm a better person than this cashier. Check out her photos and stay far far away of this place. I hope this place goes out of business because the owner of this place don't care that he/she hires rude people.

I got a new bathing suit from here since I forgot mine at home. It was $15, totally what I expected for a $15 bathing suit. This place serves its purpose. It's a souvenir shop minutes from the beach in a rather expensive part of town. You're not going to have $2 trinkets in a store next to a restaurant that is $80 per meal. Sunglasses for $10 and up. Shot glasses for a couple dollars, coffee mugs, beach towels. All your typical vacation stuff... no more expensive and not any less quality that Walmart.

    I got a Good hat

They have everything you can imagine from a gift shop. Huge selections and lots of higher quality items as well.

Nice selection of clothing, extremely rude employees!! Don't ask the employees questions, they will give you snarky replies.

Basically, we were looking for a swimsuit and a coverup, but other things caught our eyes also. Prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store was clean, organized, and tidy. We would return again during a future trip.

But for now I'm in Sarasota and it's party central and dreams of the continuation of sugar plums and a bright tomorrow still dance in every head. This above statement, although a bit rigid, seems to be the predominant head space for our lovable assembly at the church of Never-never Land where you never have to think adult thoughts and I remember those days well. I just needed cheap sunglasses having misplaced my expensive ones and I need to cut the glare for my eyes and protect myself a little from these lovebugs having sex on my face. I know it's their season and all, but get a crack in a door of a room or somewhere a bit less intrusive. And two conversations behind my head are on the Sillyland Express going fast track to nowhere about young love, which is sweet in theory but being bastardized in verbage. I couldn't resist to ask "Who is John Gault"? - Ayn Rand in Atlas Shrugged - ziiippppidie doodaaa - to me for invoking a colossal and misguided literature missle to the solar eclipse archetypes. They miss daily sunrises and sunsets but are consumed by a moon that's only an alien observation post, and it's getting more and more common for me to wish for an abduction and To Serve Man is the book I find upon their spaceship, it's a cookbook. But capitalism isn't broken yet here and doesn't show signs of failure quite yet because my sunglasses are ten bucks with about seventy cents of tax. They're sturdy at the hinges and appear to be Costa del Mar-esq in style and lense coloration. I still love beach shops although this one isn't exactly near and beaches. The shell necklaces, shot glasses, red Lifeguard sweatshirts and tye dye as far as the eye can see. A fine shopping experience in the end of times here in Sarasota.
