Therefore, I also did not chose to have it repaired instead of replaced. That makes no sense as the quote was for the repairs however they are to be done. Of course I would want the top to be replaced if necessary. It also was Never explained to me that without replacement it would not look new - conversation absolutely NEVER happened. Yes, minor scratches that Collision Center caused were buffed out. The major deep scratches on my door that CC caused were not buffed out because the shop scratched too deep. It was Collision Center choice to not replace the roof of my car and Collision Center choice to not repair the damage to my door that occurred at their shop.

I went by a few body shops for estimates and was rushed through. They seemed to not care if i did business there or not. I stopped by Collision Center of Lubbock and one of the adjusters there did a very accurate detailed description of the work they would perform. She printed out the estimate and walked me through the whole process. At that point i was so impressed that i told her to order the parts and move ahead with the repair. My truck was there about three weeks. It took a lot of work to take off the box and do it back to factory specifications. The GM (Daniel) and owner (Lowell) both made sure that the truck was to my 100% satisfaction. When i picked it up it looked better than off the showroom floor. These are fine people that did me right.

Don't take your car here, Ruined new car, Won't take reasonability and fix…read more I had my brand new 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage, with less than 300 miles on it, serviced by the shop in Ambridge to replace a dented front bumper. The problem comes in when I pick my car up and immediately noticed a splattering of white dots on my dash near the thermostat controls that was definitely not there prior to bringing my car to the shop - again, it was a brand-new car. After explaining the mysterious dots to the body shop, (The manger was ruin and condescending and walked away to smoke a cigarette) he attempted to blame them on the original accident, saying it wasn't their problem. Then he tried to say that it was a defect in the plastic and would attempt to get it covered by the insurance company - not sure why they would do this because I keep telling them it didn't happen in the accident it happen after I dropped it off at their shop and before I pulled it out of their parking lot. Needless to say, the insurance company didn't pay for it. Now I have to deal with the problem that THEY CAUSED and won't fix. Clearly, their management does not take accountable for their mistake. They also kept my rental car for a week after I dropped it off. Avoid having your car serviced here if you don't want your car to be permanently stained.

The first gentleman who greeted us had to, understandably, pass us off to a young man as he was helping another customer. The young man (early 20s) seemed very uninterested in locating the vehicle, as it had apparently been moved to another location over the weekend. He did not even offer to do the bare minimum of looking up where the truck is now located. He stated where he thought it might have been moved too but was uncertain. Simple fact is that we are in the market for 2 cars, I am simply undecided on what I want. You would think that if someone walks in and asks about a very specific vehicle, a salesman might become a bit more attentive to the request. Instead Smith Auto lost a 68k+ deal tonight and and any potential future sales. I genuinely expected better of a "Family" dealership.
