They came back with $225 plus about another $200 in add on's I told them the basic cleaning would be ok for now I was told to call and make an appointment. When I called Joann answered and told me "We don't do that and can't help you" and I asked her what don't you do clean carpets ?- she said she isn't going to go into detail but they don't do that --- I am still scratching my head as to what she meant- either they don't clean carpets or they won't clean mine because I didn't want to pay for the additional services or if they refused to honor the estimate they gave me (which is essentially what they did by turning away my business) I did call Stanley steamer who, with all the bells and whistles with all 3 rooms and the carpet was still under $500 and they were great

Based on my experience, GM Carpet Care is more interested in nickel-and-diming customers than actually providing the helpful, compassionate service they promise. I left a message and he returned my call within 10 minutes. He agreed to come out, take a look at the stain, and try to get it out. He arrived exactly when he said he would, discussed with me his plan to remove the stain, and got to work. In about 20 minutes, you could not even tell that anything had happened the night before!
