I canceled and now they'll likely lose their corporate contract too, but it'll help us all here because of that (and their awful dispatch.) I first contacted another towing service. That other service after an hour and ten minutes switched me to "Always Towing" this happened at about 4:50PM. After waiting for 2hours, I made several efforts to contact "Always Towing". I got thru and was given excuses and the runaround, my calls put on hold and never picked up again, told I would receive a call back in 30 minutes, never did by 8:30PM I gave up and canceled. 4/24/2023. My battery was dead at home. told it would be 1 hr. insurance covers a tow. then was told half hour more. It was more like and hour and a half more. The 3 rating is because when the driver finally arrived he was polite, got my car on the truck in maybe 10 minutes. I followed him to the service center where he unloaded and parked the car. Called for a tow December 29. Said they would be out in 90 minutes. 5 1/2 hours later they called to say they were in their way, but now the dealership would be closed. So had to cancel. Called our Roadside Assistance hotline and they contacted Always Towing. We were promised a tow within about an hour. I received texts along the way with driver updates. I used the site link in a text to find an interactive map with our location marked and a "tow truck" icon showing the driver's exact location. PERFECT view. Our driver Ron arrived within an hour as promised. Before loading the van that would not start, he checked under the hood (no, the battery was fine), tried starting it - no luck. He tipped the flatbed tow truck bed , hooked up the cable and began to pull the minivan up. I was nervous and was pleased it loaded without incident. We HAD to have a flat bed truck since the van is AWD. Drove to our dealer without incident. Towing with this company was seamless. THANK YOU to all involved read more

I was assigned this towing company by my insurance at 1:30 pm told me it will take them 1 hour to come. After 2 hours I called to check on them they and they said 20 minutes. After 3 hrs called to check on them they said driver is on the way. After 3 hours and 30 mins called to check on the driver they said 15 mins and then called the service on me. Now they are not picking up my call. They are unprofessional people, it is better to cancel service and go with someone else. They are big liars and unprofessional people. read more

Horrible. I was assigned this tow company by my roadside assist from my car manufacturer. At 1:41 they called and said they would be here in 60-75 minutes. At 3:10 I called and they said I was next on the list and he should be here in 20 min. At 3:50 I called again, and again was told I was next and it would be 15-20 min. At 4:01, I got a call from the roadside assist case manager as my case had been escalated. She was trying to find someone else to come. It is currently 4:53, and Always Towing appears to still be Always Lying to their customers because I still have not seen them nor received a call with an update. I let the driver into my parking garage to tow my car and as I took the stairs to get to the floor my car was parked on, he just left and wouldn't answer any of my calls. The dispatcher was helpful but the drivers are 0/10 read more

Called at 9:48 AM for a tow. Was told about 30-45 which is understandable. Time now is 12:30 and still no tow truck. Called multiple times and was told wait about 30-45 more minutes. (The location of the company and the spot I needed a tow were about 13 min drive.) I cancelled my tow request. Don't tow with this company they are terrible. Lied to over and over. 1 hr. Wait went to 4 hours. I finally got a tow from Champion towing who was very polite and within 30 minutes. I called Always towing numerous times and continued to get new estimates on their estimated times and each person I talked with said it must have been somebody on the earlier shift that quoted me the time frame. This was a VW roadside assistance call. My wife and I were left stranded in a bad area. Finally they told me to call someone else. Two years prior, I chose to use them myself and called a day in advance to have a car picked up that I purchased and was guaranteed they would be on time. I waited 3 1/2 hours with the same multiple excuses. NEVER AGAIN! Worst business management ever. read more

Hyundai contacted them to tow my mother's car to dealer. Quoted Wait time 1 hour. 4 hours later the tow shows. Mom is upset obviously. Tells guy they won't make it to dealer in time. He said no wonder why no one wants to help you with your attitude. He drives like a maniac to dealer. Closed as mom said it would be. He drops her car & leaves her there. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. On Jan. 17th one of their tow trucks was towing another vehicle and hit my vehicle. The tow driver drove away without leaving any information. I retrieved camera footage of him hitting my vehicle and driving away. There were also plenty of witnesses who approached me after to let me know what happened. I reached out to the company, showed them the evidence and they continued to give me the run around. First the owner was going to reach out to me then she was miraculously out of town and still hasn't returned any of my calls or emails and that was two months ago. Any one who would hit someone's car and not take responsibility should be ashamed. They are not aware of my financial situation and left me to pay for something that was their fault. Karma exists and I do not easily give up that is why I have retained a lawyer and they will pay no matter what. This company should not be in business. Very unprofessional. Always Towing & Recovery is a poor establishment due to the unprofessional staff and lack of customer service. My vehicle was towed weeks ago and some damaged was caused by the tow company. I filed a dispute immediately and my issue has not been resolved as of yet. I barely receive return calls, but when the mechanic does phone me- it's during the hours I'm working (as I've mentioned numerous times when I've called and left messages). Made it a point to ask about a ride in the tow truck on the phone due to the pandemic (I wear gloves and a mask, and have hand sanitizer in the car). He said it wouldn't be a problem. Just used this company 30 mins ago. They were on time, driver seemed friendly. Towed me to walmart where I have road hazzard on my tires. It was 68.00 for the tow. So we get to walmart, but there is no tech to do the tire change. So I asked the driver to drop the car and I'd put the spare on. The driver immediately says "I'll change it for you" ...so I said ok, tipped him $12.00, and went about my day. All Ways towing is billing me 43.00 for changing my tire. I was never told about the fee before the driver changed my tire....totally Un ethical business practice. I call back in a HR they said they were a half HR away then a HR goes by they still were not there I tried to call them back multiple times no answer. I had to call a different company. One star is being overly generous for this company. A 90 minute toe has now turned in to 2 1/2 hours. I called the company and they really didn't seem to care. They are contracted by Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge. They could care less how long you wait and how much you're inconvenienced. read more

After over 2-3/4 hrs of waiting and lying from Always Towing, we contacted another company that arrived in 10 min! SafeCo, our insurance carrier, contacted Always Towing to schedule our roadside tow, we were notified it would be 1 hr, when they were late, Always Towing told SafeCo another 10 minutes, then the next call was an additional 15 minutes, then the 3rd call was not sure when we'll arrive. Always Towing continued to lie that they were on the way. Then after 2-3/4 hours they gave a BS story that there was an accident that had a priority; if that was the case why wasn't that shared during the previous 4 calls when they said they were "ON THEIR WAY"? They're a bunch of liars with no concern to leave people sitting in a car on the road for almost 3 hours. read more

This company gets a 1 star rating ONLY because thats the lowest rating I can provide. Our insurance company - Nationwide - uses this company for their towng services. We called today at 1:47 PM and were given a time of arrival of 3:30 PM. After at least 6 follow ups directly with Always Towing - and being told EVERY time that they estimated 15 - 18 minutes until arrival - 6 1/2 hours later our car still hasn't been towed. Three calls to Nationwide - and they have dispatched a new tow company with an ETA of 40 minutes. Always Towing repeatedly used the "excuse" that they had "State Trooper" calls that caused the delay - even though there are NO weather-related conditions to warrant this. On the second to last update, Always Towing claimed the driver was 10 minutes away and just refueling his vehicle. On the last status update with Always Towing ONE HOUR later (not the 10 minutes to refule the vehicle), they claimed the estimated tme of arrival would now be 15 - 18 minutes. When confronted with the status update of "refuelng vehicle", they used the "State Trooper - beyond their control excuse". If you want your car towed, you'd be better to select another company. Review update: This company continues to lie. Nationwide canceled the tow order for Always Towing and dispatched another Tow Company - Blaze Towing (216-978-2803) - who I would highly recommend. Blaze Towing called us 45 minutes after being dispatched - and 15 minutes sooner than their initial ETA. They couldn'd find the vehicle - it was gone! We called Nationwide - who investigated the situation directly with ALWAYS TOWING. Always Towing out-and out lied and told Nationwide that our vehicle had been picked up 3 1/2 hours earlier. When we called Always Towing directly ourselves, they claimed the vehicle was picked up just minutes prior to Blaze Towing's arrival - 10 minutes earlier. Hopefully, the repair facility to where the vehicle was supposed to towed - whihc was now closed - can verify they have our vehicle in the morning. Use Blaze Towing! read more

I've used this company four times now each time they've been at minimum an hour late. This time I use them they were three and a half hours late and sent the wrong type of truck even though they knew what I needed was a flatbed. Tow truck driver told me that he was going to brake my oil pan and there was nothing he could do about it and it was too bad for me. I ended up sending him away and canceled the service call. That's the second time I had that same driver named Ron and he's been rude each time. If you call and complain about them being late will tell you the drivers a few minutes away and then just wait they tell you the same thing over and over and over and the tow truck driver shows up whenever. I got this service through my roadside assistance with State Farm next time I'll request a different company. And I highly recommend unless you have absolutely no other choice not to use Always Towing for any of your services unless you have all day to wait around for them. read more

I was given a wait time of 50 minutes - sitting here nearly 3 hours later and the truck still hasn't arrived. The very polite person on the phone has told me "just 15-20 minutes" twice now. I understand traffic, busier schedules on weekends, etc but this is inexcusable. Very frustrated. read more
