When you get there you drive inside the building and your vehicle gets weighed. If it's one type of metal you are getting cash for they have you drive back to the location for the metal drop off is. You unload your items then go back to the weigh in station and they weigh your car again. That is where they get the weight amount of the metal you've dropped off. You go to the cashier and they give you money. If you have different types of scrap you should have it separated and you can load up a cart with it and go to a smaller scale that is near the cashiers office. The only downside is having to unload your vehicle (especially if you have a lot). They take all kinds of metals such as copper, aluminum, steel, and aluminum cans. There may be others that I didn't list. Last time we were there they helped to unload scrap which we totally appreciated! Their prices are pretty good compared to some of the other companies in the area that also scrap metals.

He told me to wait until after the car wash to see if I wanted to sign up. Not a huge fan of the steelyard commons area but I liked the car wash. My car is cleaner than the normal wash I go to. The wheel clean made my wheels super shiny. The dryer works really well. I didn't use the vacuums as I cleaned my car not too long ago. When I pulled into the wash bay I was given an air freshener. I would recommend the car wash and will be getting the membership.

I was able to set up the delivery of a dumpster in a few minutes over the phone, and had it…read moredelivered a couple days later. Other dumpsters would have had to be placed where it would block my driveway, due to overhead wires, but when Chuck-It delivered my dumpster was delivered, they backed up my narrow, 150ft driveway into position with no issues at all. I took a 3 piece bathroom and walk-in closet down to studs (120sq ft total), and it was almost exactly the right size. I filled that thing -- I mean REALLY filled it, with cast iron pipe, plaster board, plywood, framing, tile, glass -- all manner of heavy stuff, and I was within the weight limit. I can't imagine what it'd take to be heavy enough to get charged extra. For my next renovation, I'll be using Chuck-It again.
