Alyssa did an amazing job on my and my boys bonding photos. My boys are very rough and tumble kids and she was so patient and kind with them during our time. At one point she most have noticed my anxiety and reassured me that my boys were not doing anything she hadn't seen before. My fiance and I met Alyssa in 2013 for a one-hour photo shoot that we purchased from LivingSocial. Since then, we have collaborated with Alyssa three times for our series of engagement/couple photography sessions. During our first, winter engagement session, my boyfriend and I were somewhat nervous to have our photographs taken by someone we did not know. Then, Alyssa came into the picture. She made the both of us feel very comfortable with ourselves and with each other, in front of the camera. A few weeks later, we were surprised at how well our photographs turned out! That was nearly 2 years ago, when Alyssa just started her business. When my fiance and I began to think about taking engagement photos, we naturally decided to ask Alyssa to be our photographer. Now, she has new and different camera lens and equipment to work with! Since we had already taken photos with her and wanted to expand our engagement session to catch the 4 seasons of N. California, Alyssa offered us a discount for booking 2 engagement sessions together. Like our first time, Alyssa picked locations that provided intimacy for these personal photos and beautiful natural settings that fit our ideas for the seasons. We couldn't have been more pleased and happy with how great the photos turned out. Alyssa really has a talent for bringing out the beauty and personality of the people she shoots. It's really amazing. The turnaround time for Alyssa to go through, edit and pick the best photos is fast, usually around 2 weeks or so. I like the fact that she gives you full rights to the photos and shares them with you via google drive. Moreover, she sent us larger versions of the photos when we decided to make photo canvases of them. The canvases turned out beautiful btw! Overall, Alyssa is a delight to work with. She is extremely helpful, organized and responsive. Most importantly, she is a brilliant artist. We felt comfortable telling her our vision and letting her have fun with it.
