My doctor (Dr.Briggs) has been amazing! Helping me with all questions and concerns for this new journey of life. The front desk are quiet but typically very nice. The only down side is the wait time both times I waited about an hour and a half in a room to speak with my doc. I'm very patient so this doesn't really brother me but it can for some people. I know they have a ton of patients to deal with and things can get crazy but it's good to let patients know what's going on as well. Also trying to get in touch can be fairly difficult, my advice is to just keep calling and they will teach out or answer as soon as they can. I am a current patient. My experience has not been the best. It takes up to 2 weeks to get any information on lab results even though the lab turn around is great. The communication with the MA's is horrible. One literally just told me in my chart that they are understaffed and see 40 plus patients a day. She was irritated that i was requesting a follow up on my lab results and a much needed MRI order to be sent to radiology for my care. Then she proceeded to attempt to correct me when i messaged earlier about the MRI stating "I never said it was sent. I said i would send it". Really? It's been a week and you want to correct me? It has not been sent!!! It's been a week and nothing gets done unless i follow up and continue to ask. And i waited a week before even asking about the MRI in order to be patient. If i don't advocate for myself who will? Not good customer service at all. read more

OMG!!!!(endocrinologist) I do not know what is going with this office. Dr. Latiff is still a great doctor, and the lab staff is awesome, however the level of service has definitely diminished in the last couple of years. The wait times are horrible; you are not able to get a follow up regarding your care some of the staff is rude (not all) and it is very hard to contact the office. I was told my appointment was one date show up for it to be told it is a different date and time and I could not be fitted in after taking time off of work. I am still awaiting to be advised if I need to resume medication following an appointment over a month ago after reaching out and stopping by the office to say someone would contact me still waiting. This is my health and it does not seem that they care. read more

I have been a patient there for quite a few years and I drive quite a distance but it is truly worth it to get the care and attention I receive. My away-at-college son had an appt that got rescheduled months ago... he drove in from out of town and the provider had an emergency.... Ok, I get it- you can't help those situations. Rescheduled for the next day to be cancelled yet again.... When he was contacted via text message to reschedule, no response was returned. I understand emergency situations but it's sad that someone else couldn't see him in a group that large. And the lack of ability to contact someone when you call is so frustrating... either leave a message or communicate via text... poor communication practices in place if you ask my opinion. read more

Dr. Latif and his staff are amazing. I have been a patient here for over 15 years now and would literally fly to China If this center moved there. This team has changed my life and has made living with T1D more manageable for me. What I like about Dr. Latif is that he isn't afraid of change and growth in technology for T1D. In fact, I discovered that this office actually has a research department that works on studies to help improve diabetes management. The Insulin Pump Center staff, the fitness center, the educators, the nurses, the receptionist are all amazing at what they do. They take time to explain each detail with you, and make sure they they are up to date on ways to make our(T1D patients) lives easier. You will never be able to get anyone on the phone, text or email. I have been trying for almost a month and have gotten nowhere. It doesn't matter if the doctors are great if it is impossible to get through. It is easily the worst managed medical office I have ever encountered. So amazing! It was very easy for me to make an appointment and the staff was nice and friendly. I was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 and the staff educated me on what to do to reverse this. Dr. Latiff was very friendly and personable and I felt as if he actually cared. He explained everything to me including how my PCOS is affected by diabetes. I will recommend that EVERYONE go see Dr. LATIFF! read more

Been coming here for around 8 months. It's impossible to get a returned phone call, even after multiple calls and voicemails over a week long period. Staff is fine, not overly friendly. They did mis-schedule my appointment though which was frustrating considering they can't answer the phone for me to fix it. The actual doctor (Jurardo) is nice. Wait is ridiculous...which was over an hour! My Aunt saw Dr. Jurado, who, after about eight minutes, diagnosed her with hyperthyroid so she prescribed a medication. Called twice to see if I could refill my Aunt's prescription- no answer whatsoever. First message I left was never returned. Left a second message today and to be honest, I don't think they'll return any of my messages. Steer clear from this place. Looks like they just want your money. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Staffing was ok and I was referred here because of hypothyroidism and PCOS. Never been on meds for thyroid before until prescribed them by the doctor here. It's been over months and NO ONE HAS CHECKED BACK WITH ME EXCEPT DEBT CONSOLIDATION VIA PHONE CALL ONLY. WE ALWAYS PAY OUR BILLS SO THIS WAS NEWS TO ME. I asked if they could send a bill and she said they had sent 3. I asked her to double check the address, it's correct. She says to check with our mailman. My husband and I immediately drive up in person to pay the bill that we never knew had been turned over to consolidation which was about $228. I also saw a nutritionist through them for an additional $198 as well. Ridiculously high! Why? Apparently, I was not covered by insurance for this place either. I wish someone would have told me this, I just assumed I was covered being referred here by my OBGYN who is covered. I'll be checking next time, which I should have done in the first place. Anyway, THIS TOOK PLACE THREE DAYS AGO. GUESS WHAT I GET IN THE MAIL TONIGHT? 2 FINAL NOTICE LETTERS. That's all I get. No one has checked to see if my thyroid is doing well on the new meds since I was prescribed them. Nothing! I'm now 6 weeks pregnant and was going to make an appointment here soon because I definitely need to make sure my thyroid meds dosage is still doing well but I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN EVER. I have never been so humiliated and neglected before. I hope this awful treatment of your patients will be improved. read more

Skilled and sensitive doctors, mid-level providers and nursing staff who have monitored and provided wonderful care for my hypothyroidism and Type 2 DM for the past several years. I am particularly impressed with Dr. Latif and Ms. Jurado who have helped me achieve good thyroid levels and a consistent low A1C (less than 6) with diet, exercise and counsel about medications and daily blood glucose monitoring. read more

The office staff/ medical assistants at AM Diabetes suck. I had to have some testing done at St. Francis hospital 5/30/17 where they had to draw blood from me three times. This experience was nerve wrecking and it also concerned me. The staff at St. Francis informed me that my results would be forwarded to AM diabetes. It has almost been a month since I had the testing done and I have yet to receive my results. I have called AM Diabetes 4 times and no one has taken the time to call St. Francis to have the test results faxed over to the office. Since seeing Belinda Hilliard I have not been pleased with the staff. They are very immature and I always have to call and find out the results of my blood test. On one occasion I went to the clinic and asked for a nurse to come out and talk to me because no one had called me about my test results. To my surprise no one came to talk to me they sent a message through the scheduling rep. I tried giving this office a chance but I am over it. I am looking for a new endocrinologist and I hope and pray the staff has enough common sense to call me with my test results because AM diabetes does not! read more

Have been seeing this doctor for nearly a year now and I still do not have an answer to my problem. TEST, TEST and more TEST ! I have no regard for the office staff as they do not know how to run an office. Never get return calls and when you do it is because you have had to raise such a stink they had no choice. Tried calling the office on 11/3/2016 just to find out that the message machine has been blocked due to one of the nurses not knowing how to use the system. Another office managing failure. I am never going back to this practice and I would never recommend this practice to anyone. The straw that broke the camels back was I was "promised" a daily phone call to keep me posted on the progress of my case and of course I never received a call. Just another lie..... I am done.... Going to a practice that knows how to treat people like they mean something rather than looking at them as another deposit into the banking account. read more
