This team has changed my life and has made living with T1D more manageable for me. What I like about Dr. Latif is that he isn't afraid of change and growth in technology for T1D. In fact, I discovered that this office actually has a research department that works on studies to help improve diabetes management. The Insulin Pump Center staff, the fitness center, the educators, the nurses, the receptionist are all amazing at what they do. They take time to explain each detail with you, and make sure they they are up to date on ways to make our(T1D patients) lives easier. The communication with the MA's is horrible. One literally just told me in my chart that they are understaffed and see 40 plus patients a day. She was irritated that i was requesting a follow up on my lab results and a much needed MRI order to be sent to radiology for my care. Then she proceeded to attempt to correct me when i messaged earlier about the MRI stating "I never said it was sent. I said i would send it". Really? It's been a week and you want to correct me? It has not been sent!!! It's been a week and nothing gets done unless i follow up and continue to ask. And i waited a week before even asking about the MRI in order to be patient. If i don't advocate for myself who will? Not good customer service at all.
