One time I fell on a concrete storefront and told him about it, he checked out my hands and said you didn't fall you passed out, if you would of fell you would have scratches on your palms. He said call your Dr when you get home. With that he excused himself and came back telling me l have an appointment with Dr. C. He also diagnosed my thyroid cancer Dr. Ghawji saved my life 2 times. They are all really good. I have called several times for a prescription refill and never get a call-back nor refill. Whenever I call back, she is argumentative and insulting. I have encountered this three times over the years and I have come to the conclusion that I am DONE. At this time I will be moving on to another endocrinologist. I will truly miss Dr Ghawji. There is none like him but I cant take the stupidity the office lady dishes.

I was handed medication by an office manager and asked to take it, which immediately made me uncomfortable. I spoke with the physician directly to express my concerns about the level of care and professionalism I was experiencing. Now I'm at the hospital needing testing done, but the office staff still cannot seem to get the orders entered correctly so the hospital can actually perform the test. I've now been waiting for over 2 hours trying to get this resolved. I really tried to give grace and be understanding, but at this point I think it's time for me to find a new physician. Your health, peace of mind, and trust in your medical team matter too much to ignore when something doesn't feel right.

My husband had been a patient at Stern since November of 2025 being referred for atrial flutter…read more Scheduling is a nightmare and wait times to see the doctor are horrible with no consideration for the patient's time. After going back and forth for 7 months, I had him change cardiology groups. The new group has, in one month: 1) taken him off of the Digoxin on first visit (he feels so much better, not tired, drowsy or suffering mental fog); 2) performed the cardioversion, and 3) scheduled him for the cardio ablation July 17th. This group has managed to totally complete his treatment in one month's time. He had been "treating" with Stern since November of 2025 with no treatments other than drugs and tests. We are very disappointed in our experience with Stern. Scheduling was a nightmare. It felt like my husband was "just a number" in a long, drawn-out process to milk the insurance company.
