THE ABSOLUTE WORST. We moved recently and paid in advance for our trash services. After 6 months..we STILL never received a garbage can and they constantly Would miss picking up our garbage. My partner and I called almost every single week to report our issues and ask for at least a can. Was struggling to find an affordable rental on a dumpster and a friend recommended this company to me. Rented a dumpster for the most reasonable rate I could find from AM Disposal, had it dropped off quickly, and picked up on time. Quickly called me back and paid by CC over the phone. read more

AM Disposal has the worst customer service we have ever dealt with. We have not had a pickup in two weeks. My husband has called, texted, and emailed with limited response. Both times management called him back, they told us they would be right there to pick it up. We are now on day seventeen without a pickup. They are taking advantage of seniors, billing us without providing service. We have never received such poor-quality customer service. The lack of common courtesy in not responding or providing the promised pickup is unbelievable. There has been no follow-up call to see if the problem has been resolved. Maybe a call to WQAD Eight on Your Side will be next. read more

Had them for years. They cut off my service over a 17 month old bill I must have viewed and forgotten about. Just cut it off without any communication. I paid all the bills and out of the blue they just stopped service stating they don't call customers about overdue bills they text message you invoices, but on every invoice I received there was no overdue or past due payments. Just the current bill. They stated they kept picking up the trash on good faith that I would pay, and the bill must've slipped through the cracks.. 17 months later after paying the bills all that time I was shut off after going back-and-forth via text message with a very snotty rude gentleman I mentioned social media. He then called me and told me that if I put it on social media, he would have his attorneys sue me for defamation of character so he could call me to threaten me but he couldn't call me to tell me I had a bill 17 months old and they would have to suspend Service if I didn't pay it he didn't even give me a chance. Terrible sad customer service. He even went as far to say it's not our fault you can't pay your bill.. I have all the screenshots to prove it because it's quite unbelievable. I do have to add that they forgot to pick up my garbage at least four times during that service at no fault of mine. I called the company and was gracious about it even though two weeks of garbage would pile up. I never really complained as soon as I was done speaking with the very rude gentleman on the phone. I paid the invoice. I never said I wasn't going to pay it. It was my bill to pay. It was just a miscommunication that could've went so totally different if they were trained in any kind of customer service aspect. read more

This company deserves a -0 rating. They stopped picking up my trash in August because they said I have not paid anything since the first of the year. I always paid when I received the bill. They cashed my checks but did not credit my account. Hmmm, somebody taking the money???? I sent them a letter with copies of the cashed checks and no response. Now they are charging me with the next bill. I cancelled their service in September but still getting bills. These people know nothing about customer service and do not know how to run a business. Last September I received a bill from what I thought was my disposal company. On October 1st I sent a check for 180.00 for 6 months. I kept getting texts saying my payment was late. I finally took my cancelled check to my disposal company only to find out I was billed from A&M Disposal and sent them a check. Why would I even get a bill from them? After months of trying to contact them I was told I would be reimbursed. I ended up talking to the same person three different times with the same results. Promises with no results. I finally contact The Better Business Bureau and they sent them my complaint. This was at 10 weeks ago and no response from A&M. Two weeks ago they had the audacity to send me another bill. Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE!!! Go with another company. I've always paid quarterly (every three months) with my card over the phone. This month they took directly (or Square did, after saving my card number from last time) a year's worth (12 months) in the course of three invoices and the owner will not return calls for a majority refund. 0 stars should be an option, this company has you prepay to have a "month" free. What they don't say is they will not pick up trash consistently, sometimes weeks in a row...then you try and contact them, no one answers phone, or email or FB messages. Not sure how they even connect with new potential customers with such horrible communications. read more

Signed up for service and paid two months in advance. First week...no pickup.....2nd week no pickup...called and complained and owner came out in his pickup truck and picked up my garbage....next two weeks no pickup...I called and talked with a very sympathetic understanding employee who assured me someone would call me and get this straightened out...NO CALL....so I called and cancelled service and asked for my money back. They refuse to refund and Matt (owner) kept repeating that they were there but no garbage was out ( lie) so therefore no refund........He was very argumentative and very combative..I finally hung up. Don't do business with this company if you don't have time to constantly contact them. I have been waiting for delivery of a second residential garbage can since May 1, 2024. I call and ask every other week when it will be delivered. For the first few months I had to text or leave a message, then they hired a customer service person who takes my message and says he passed it on, but still no can. They are constantly on social media soliciting new residential customers when they haven't given me what I paid for in April 2024. I paid for the full year up front and now I wait. I asked them when my second can would be coming on one of their Facebook posts and instead of answering me, they blocked me. The professionalism exhibited with that move lets me know the lack of respect they have for their customers. I regret changing companies to save a few dollars because it has caused me endless aggregation. I wish I had checked their review on the sites before i made a move to a new company. read more

They were the most cost effective, but they never deliver the dumpster. We ask for a refund, still haven't received it. Work request was for May 2023, it's now August end. I'm going to keep calling until I get my money back. read more

I strongly encourage anyone who is considering using this service due to the price to turn and run away quickly. We paid for a year in advance to get two free months. We were missed for 4 straight weeks and now we have been missed for 3 straight weeks. If you call the business number, you get an answering service that claims they will send a message to the owner to call you back or they will send a truck asap, but we have heard nothing back and clearly haven't had our trash picked up asap. Quite honestly I have never worked with a company that is has such poor customer service and is as unreliable as this one and I doubt we will get our money back if we cancel. We tried to locate the office to talk in person and both addresses were clearly not the business. Just save yourself the hassle and do not sign up for this service. I only wish I could give a -5 star rating rather than being forced to at least give one star. read more
