After taking the windshield tint off, I found multiple parallel linear scratches on both sides of the windshield under the tint. It's a new car, so I would have noticed if there were scratches before. See the photo. Omar told me he would call me over the next couple days about fixing the scratches, but he did not. I called to follow up in the next week, and they said I would get a return call later that day. I did not receive any call and have not received any information in the last month. I am very disappointed by the lack of communication.

Mike was really helpful in explaining my options, including that I could reschedule the repair and go back to my insurance company and request an OEM windshield as my car is less than two years old. I had not known this but opted to just get it done that day with the aftermarket windshield they had ready and which was supposed to be equivalent in quality to OEM. I think they did a superb job and it was pretty fast, so I am 100% satisfied. I will add a couple of things, including what I mentioned above: 1. If you car is fairly new, you may be able to specify to your insurance company that you want an OEM windshield. 2. Safelite entered an incorrect number for my mileage on the order/receipt. They put 31,000 when my car had only about 26,000. I called about this and was told they could not correct and reissue the receipt. A bit disappointing. 3. On the emailed receipt, it says "we vacuumed your car." They did not. I still had the same dirty carpet I had when I brought it in, LOL. This is no big deal but they should not have this on the receipt if they're not going to do it. The big picture, however, is they did an excellent job, were friendly, helpful and fast about it and coordinated it easily with my insurance company. I definitely recommend this Safelite shop.
