He said maybe a new toilet. He left. Called Advanced, John Lyman came out. Looked over the drains (sink and shower) no others were backed up. He cleared the clog and we were good. He told me it is guaranteed for 30 days and don't hesitate to call us if it clogs again. Amen to an honest company. Summary - don't use A. J. They comprehensively fixed my plumbing issues the same day, it was a fair price for the service and speed. Not only were they truly speedy (arrived in 10 minutes!), but they had all the heavy machinery needed, even checked the township sewers and called the township to come and inspect them (trying to save me $ if it was, in fact, a township responsibility), then JOHN and MATT were able to jet-flush the drain from the inside (no hole digging!), worked for almost an hour doing just that, then cleaned up!!! I met with Grossman to swap out a toilet & the water controls in a shower (non-emergency service call). Matt came to my house to provide an estimate. We scheduled a time for him to return a few days later (11/2020). They came and they did a good job. There were no economic surprises. They cleaned up their mess and everything works fine. I've attached a picture of his neat workmanship of the shower cartridge (hidden behind the wall). IMO, he did a good job & I will be using Grossman again.

Because it was late in the night and the nature of the work, they had promised us they would come first thing in the morning. Fast forward to the following morning day: they came exactly at the time they'd promised and got the job done at the time they'd estimated. They also walked me through what work needed to be done (i.e. upgrading the existing exhaust to the chimney as ours is not up to code, replacing x valve, etc...), which was nice and assuring. I had an extremely pleasurable experience using this vendor and will definitely contact them again for future work!
