As someone with children at home, I immediately recognized this as a serious safety hazard. I called the company as soon as I noticed the issue to make them aware. I explained that I had kids in the house and that the unsecured lids posed an immediate risk. The company had no problem promptly charging for the service, but when I called to report a serious safety issue they had created, I was told no one was available and that it would have to wait until the following morning. I found that response disappointing, especially considering the potential risk. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I have a harder time accepting is the lack of urgency when a customer reports a potentially dangerous situation. An unsecured septic tank isn't a minor inconvenience--it's a significant safety hazard, particularly for families with children. I hope the company uses this as an opportunity to improve both its safety procedures and its customer service. A business should stand behind its work and respond promptly when a safety issue is brought to its attention.

The last plumber suggested I call IG Sewer and drain. Calling and making an appointment was easy and two days later IG arrived at the house. I met with Josh, Brian and Felix. They were able to clear the main that no one else was able to unclog. A camera inspection was performed and it showed an enormous amount of roots and several cracks in the clay main. It appeared that after over 100 years the clay sewer main was on its last legs and about to collapse. The crew worked diligently and carefully to re-line the main, extending its life for 50+ more years. This crew was friendly, and worked great together. They left my mom's house just as clean as they found it. I highly recommend their services. You get what you pay for.

Over the following 2 weeks it backed up another 2 times. At the 3rd backup Ignacio came, snaked out the line, and ran a camera down it. I was able to view the camera video on his tablet as he carefully explained everything I was seeing. He showed me what the problem was and gave me 3 options to permanently resolve the issue with pros and cons for each option. I contracted with IG and within 1 week they did the work and fixed my problem. Not only that, but they kept everything so clean during the work and even washed my floor when they were finished. They worked with my insurance adjustor to properly explain the problem and thankfully my claim was approved. I can't say enough good things about IG! Thanks guys for all your good work.
